1:51 that K'tinga held with a tractor beam and pummeling it with photons is just terrific! Epic stuff!

Awesome battle, you should have rammed the station at the end and gone out in a blaze of glory

The old Grishna cat wasn't quite as toothless as the Klingons thought.

The best DS9 Model yet. Even in the show, they made it a fortress, but not voyager levels of plot armor. The old and beat up orbital mining/processing facility and made it a force to be reckoned with and a power in the galaxy. I loved DS9.

Yeah, that's what happens when Starfleet upgrades stuff properly in a year.
These upgrades occurred in S3... which basically turned DS9 into a full fledged Starbase - and Obrien did mention structural limitations of Terrok Nor in the Way of the Warrior hoping everything doesn't blow up in their face - which it didn't.
As for VOY... to be fair, VOY didn't have excessive levels of plot armour. At least, not any more than Ds9 and TNG did. My main beef is that Starfleet seemingly never learned its lesson from all these 'near misses' and techs that were developed to insulate their ships better for exploration - so you'd think that by the 25th century, all existing and new ships, outposts and starbases would undergo series of upgrades to incorporate these changes and make them that much better at increasing their odds of survival in space.

@@deksroning125 Voyager didn't always, but it selective super armor. That ship could never stand up against a tactical cube or actually survive an 8472 blast, then bet beaten by something no more powerful than nelix shuttle the next. They had TOS levels of plot armor. Ds9 was probably the most balanced besides the TMP era movies 2 and 6 specifically where you see the ship legit get beaten over and over.

@@aaronatwood9298 In fairness, VOY didn't withstand very long against the Tactical cube.
The ship got bruised pretty well and the Flyer was destroyed.
Also, by this time, Borg drone One already enhanced VOY's overall tech back in S5, and the ship got tactical updates from Starfleet via Pathfinder in S6.
Seven was also onboard which probably increased VOY's chances against the tactical cube.
The primary mission was to deliver the away team, confirm their assimilation and leave while keeping the engines fully functional (it was a precision strike).
In reality, VOY wasn't in the fight for very long... not any longer than most other SF ships.
As for the ship losing to something like a shuttle in the next... actually, they encountered an alien weapon testing field after mid season 7 which probably had experimental weaponry that was pretty powerful (experimental weapons are likely very deadly and even SF had one shot weapons at its disposal when developing new weapons - its just they aren't warmongering - but to be fair, VOY didn't manage to fully repair its damage so the possibility of its destruction from the last warhead was really up there).
Apart from that, the only real 'beef' with the Borg I had was in 'Dark Frontier' with Janeway confronting the Queen in her chambers and subsequently the flyer actually evading the Borg and withstanding all those torpedoes in the TW conduit - though its possible the Borg weren't trying to destroy them, but rather assimilate them).

We need a battle where the federation fleet that turned up get to fight against the Klingons as well.

Not happening. Not with that many BoPs. Those literally evaporated in the first half a minute. A few more Vor'Chas and K'Tingas might have done the trick, instead.
But it's to be expected. DS9 held it's own against a Klingon fleet. What you had here was a large battlegroup. No chance.
That said, I'm surprised how long the Negh'Var managed to soak it all up. I guess Gowron had reason to be pretty confident back there. :D Still overconfident, of course hehe.

I like this ds9 much better cause there's a version that fires only from the pylons which is just wrong.
