    Remember, this is from a movie soundtrack. He's supposed to be a nightclub singer. I think he does a fantastic job singing as his character would have.

    Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks [the band backing Rufus] are now at Iguana NYC every Monday and Tues . 240 W.54th St [212 765 5454] They also supply the soundtrack music for HBO's Boardwalk Empire on Sunday nights.

    I never saw a violin with a megaphone attached to it...and im an ex-violinist....the singer was ok but but as the gentleman said here...his voice doesnt match this kind of music

      The superstar of the 20s was Rudy Valley and he had the same type voice that Rufus Wainwright has so therefore Rufus was perfect choice to sing this song
