Hope you're doing well. Sorry to hear about the issues you were having at the time. Hopefully things have improved. A little distraction, whether with plastic ships or something else, is good for the mental health every now and then. Wisdom learned from my time in the military :) . Maintain some hope. You could always be dealing with the US point of view toward covid, and yes I'm in the US. Wish the US was more united in general these days. Keep up the hope.

I really like that the gauntlet is on multiple factions, the mandolorians are all of the place and I like that that’s been reflected in this ship, however I haven’t played first edition so I don’t have any experience with captain nym and same name pilots on different factions with different abilities
I feel like scum has plenty of ships to choose from. Republic and separatists could use more options.

I'm a super casual player, everyone who I get to play with plays with my collection. A lot of the time it's simple games with my family so we use minimal upgrade cards, but we all love Star Wars and want to be able to play different squads. I love the idea of more cross faction ships like the gauntlet, it allows for some more flavorful options for us in our games. Can't wait to buy too many of them :)
18:44 That card on the left side of the spread is the Separatist Bo-Katan card that was shown by itself. The Rebel card is the one in the middle.
I'm wondering what the Razor Crest title's effect will be. Definitely grabbing one!
Child + false transponder code to mitigate the effect once, maybe on an acey ship?
Also, we have all the ship abilities on the gauntlets. For the other factions, it’s flavour text in italics.

ISB Jingoist is worded the same as Vader crew so you can target ships without green tokens.
Oh I know you aren't limited to who you can target. I'm suggesting a ship without a green token (who was targeted) may opt to remove a green token even if they don't have one. As I said, I doubt that will be the ruling, just speculating.

At the start of the Engagement Phase, you may choose 1 ship in your firing arc at range 0-2 and spend 1 (force). If you do, that ship suffers 1 damage unless it chooses to remove 1 green token
The question of ISB Jingoist has precedent involving this ability and I think its what Corey was talking about. The ruling of the ability and all others like it is that since the card specifies 1 token, a green token is required to be spent if the player wants to avoid Vadar's damage.
In other words, this is what happens if someone tries to "remove 1 green token" whist not having any green tokens when Vadar (and due to this ruling ISB Jingoist ability) uses their ability on them.
Attacking player spends 1 force to activate Vadar's ability -> defending player declares they will spend a green token, butt the ship does not have 1 -> Defending player must take one damage as they can not fit the requirement of the card.
If the card had read any/all green tokens rather than 1 it would be possible to simply walk away without any downsides much like how Old Terochs ability does nothing to a ship without any green tokens to get rid of however the specification of 1 forces a token to be spent
Glad you are doing well. Most inportant thing is to stay safe and healthy. The game and the community aren't going anywhere, so don't worry or feel the need to force it. Adding Fenn in the Fang within the Rebels could also entice Scum players to try out the Rebel faction as well. I have a friend that I am going to see if he can 3D print some mados in space for the remotes.
Fearless Din with Grogu and white reinforce upgrade is cool. Mitigates damage and increases output by their little combo.

On the Razorcrest: I think that The Mandalorian is the name for the scum version of the pilot and I bet Din Djarin will be the name for him on the Rebel Faction. Just my prediction.
Like you; I've been waiting for the Krom'rk/Gauntlet since late 1st edition. They confirmed that it's the biggest ship FFG/AMG have ever made on the livestream; and it looks gorgeous.
Honestly; I'm fine with it being multi-faction. It's not really fully watering down any faction's identity; since these big boys served everywhere... though it IS the first Large ship available for the Republic so that's a little concerning.
However; there are two pilots that I am *not* OK with it getting; because of the skew they represent - Maul and Ezra. Obviously Maul is a pilot; it was accidentally confirmed on the stream by a dev whose smack-talk got ahead of what they were supposed to be saying. Ezra is more tenuous; though he does fly one in Rebels. Both of these pilots present Force access on a massive ship; and the Gauntlet is a fair bit more durable than the Ghost - and most other Large ships - by virtue of having two evade.
Edit: As a fellow Melbournian; I'm accepting of the lockdown; but it's getting harder every day.

Personally, I am disappointed with Mando's pilot ability. I hope that the Razorcrest title will fix that. Otherwise I am pleased with the stat line of the Razorcrest.

I am a fan of multi-faction ships, but it definitely kills faction identity.
