Epic fail! Beretta UK parts cannot be found for this gun!
The Devongunsmith Diaries concept was conceived by me during lock down, and the premise was to be able to perform work without a fully set up gunsmiths workshop, but rather, using just the Cottage Kitchen Table, a few hand tools, some cordless tools, a table vice, and other small DIY tools.
While the channel is not specifically intended to be a how to guide, it is mainly for entertainment.
While in the UK gunsmithing must be performed by the Licenced Gun Trade, CZcams is without borders, and if the channel is useful to someone as either entertainment, or indeed helps you to decide if a repair might be possible, then I have been a help to you.

Love the content of your videos 😉
@@NunoFigueiredo5885 thank you 👍
I tend to throw all the bits into boiling water with a bit of washing soda.. gets out all the old oil and crud and resets any old blueing if present.. not going to affect the temper or do any damage.
Yes all you say is good practice..
I usually use an ultrasonic bath..
However, please understand my videos are for entertainment, and by no means for online education..
The liability involved in teaching people with unknown skill sets is a huge law suit risk..
I do not show all the steps of a process, for safety and liability considerations 👍
nice video, wasn t the SO4 meant for OLYMPIC TRAP? would a sidelock hold up 100 rounds a day competition?? well explained video!!
I really do enjoy your videos.keep them coming 👍
Thanks, will do!
I love gun smithing content. Do you have any tips, or videos on how to get into gun smithing in England? I don’t have a firearms license yet but I’m working toward that as I understand that’s a prerequisite.
Thanks!
get out of that fk... jail call england
Hi Devongunsmith, I have worked on the locks of an SO4 and alls OK on that front. I would like to take the stock off the action to replace a trigger spring. I have removed the trigger guard and the large screw that goes down underneath the top lever. Is there anything else that would now prevent the stock from seperating from the reveiver? Appreciate your learned advice!
You should send me a little video of what you mean.. contact me via my devongunsmith website..
