THE VERY BEST review for BOTH filter and espresso grinds for REASONABLY priced hand grinders. I will be a new subscriber because of THIS perfect video! Thank you.
Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words! They mean a lot.
Stay turned for what is coming next and welcome to OurCoffeeShelter ☕️🤍
La verdad a mí también me parece un contenido valioso pero al no tener ni subtítulos en castellano no lo puedo entender, gracias.
Great video!! You are the first to talk about the difference in time between each click. I already choose the timemore C3s but I'm mora an enthusiast and ocasional espresso drinker so I'm glad that it will be great for me.
Thank you for the kind words, pleased to know you have enjoyed the video. C3s is a wonderful option ☕️🤍
I'm glad that that you guys are finally getting around to making longer form content. Splendid! I have a c3 pro, but compared to the JX the performance gap is huge. When I first decided to get into coffee, deciding to go with JX-Pro (Several times more expensive, probably 3x more expensive) was the best decision I ever did. Not only can it grind for espresso beautifully, it also does very good filter coffee with some skills (and good water, this one is VERY important). Knowing that I had a good grinder, I could focus on the coffee, which I did, and now entering a second year I decided to get a Zp6 for filter, and man it's been amazing. The C3 Pro however, is an EXCELLENT travel grinder, foldable handle, can fit in anything, light but solid, when you're travelling it almost doesn't matter, and often you're brewing with questionable water quality, so this is an excellent grinder.
Hi there, we couldn't agree more!
Your kind words mean a lot 💯
Stay tuned for our upcoming video, which will include something similar to the JX-Pro from 1Zpresso 🤍☕️😊
@@ourcoffeeshelter You guys are awesome, keep up the good work!! Would love to know if the X-pro is any good or any better than the JX Pro.
Always good to see comparison , great angles and passion on testing things up! Great vid
Thank you, it means a lot! 🤍☕️👏
ordered Kingrinder K2 for filter coffee. The solid build convinced me
I literally stumbled into the world of manual grinding yesterday and am now hooked. There's a deal on a K6 which Ill get as a starter, and probably never need/want another grinder again. Thanks for a great informative video.
Thank you! Always a pleasure. K6 is a wonderful option. We still have two more videos on Handgrinders in the works, stay tuned for them 🤍☕️
This is such an informative and helpful video. Subscribed, love you man, big respect!
Thank you so much, this means a lot! The best is yet to come! ☕️🤍👏
Excellent comparison, thank you. I just ordered the K2 recently. Your explanation of the bur size, bearings and adjustability have given me confidence in my choice. Thank you.🙏
Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to us! And congratulations ☕️🤍
здравствуйте, сколько она стоила вам?
Good review! I just purchased the Kingrinder K6 for in our campervan. What an excellent hand grinder, both for espresso and filter!
Agreed! It will be included in our upcoming video ☕️🤍
Great video, very helpful looking at the build quality.
I was thinking of K2. Now I will take this as my confirmation. Wonderful video bro!
Thank you! 🤍☕️👏
Love your background ❤ very informative video, and your voice is so calming
Thank you! :)
Thank you for the in-depth review and all the helpful info☕. A year ago I got into coffee brewing starting with a timemore c2 hand grinder
Thank you! It is always a pleasure 🤍☕️😊
Thank you for your video man. Helps me a lot!
Always a pleasure ☕️🤍
Thank you for review. Mine have c3 pro. it makes good filter coffee that i need.
You're welcome! We also love the filter coffee from C3 ☕️🤍👌
Thank you for the great breakdown
fantastic video with great information, THANK YOU SO MUCH! :D
Thank you! That means a lot to us. The best is yet to come ☕️🤍
My K6 I ordered should come in a few days! Really looking forward to it.
Goodluck, it will be included in our next video ☕️🤍👌
Love your videos! Thanks!
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video! You really helped me out with upgrading my coffee setup, passing on my cafetière and my electric grinder. I opted for the Timemore C3esp Pro due to its compatability, cost at time of purchase ($10 less than 1ZP Q2) and setup (pourover & moka pot). I'll come back with my words on this purchase!
Thank you for the lovely feedback, words like this is what makes us continue doing what we do.
Hope you have a wonderful day! ☕️🤍
how was it? gave it a try for espresso?
@pablonoguerales1425 it is a very good and capable grinder. I've added an Aeropress to my setup, it is quicker to clean up. I have found it has a bit of inconsistentcy in grind sizes but much better than I was getting before (spritzing improves that). Because of my different styles of brewing I have found settings to be slightly overwhelming, Timemore doesn't give you a booklet for their recommended setting on different brews, just the markings on the inner dial that are significantly large. I don't plan on buying espresso soon but I'm honestly so happy with the product. I just wish it did give you more help.
Tip: these go on sale on Black Friday and give you the biggest markdown 😁
@@avgaming4093What dial did you use for pour over and moka pot?
I have the 1zpresso q2s and for me it only takes about 30 seconds to grind 15g light roast for filter. I love it a lot!
☕️🤍👌😊
Incredible video! Thank you!!!
Our pleasure ☕️🤍💯
Very informative video. This might be of help for someone, I have the Normcore V2 and it presents problems with the static burr, after little use it becomes considerably loose and the grind losses consistency, you can fix it by tightening the ring that secures it but after one or two uses (even during use) it becomes loose again. I´ve seen reviews with the same issue, so I would advise you to stay away from that model and wait if all that is solved with the V3.
I don't understand your comment. The static burr is practically glued/screwed to the body of the grinder and not connected to the shaft or any other movable parts, how can it become loose after a couple of uses lol? That doesn't make sense. And speaking of rings, the small one(s) on the shaft are pushed up tight by the spiral. I have experienced some occasional grind inconsistencies but I fail to see any reproducible mechanical issues.
Wow this is an excellent video. Thank you.
You're very welcome!🤍☕️
I have one click that works for my c2 on my Bambino Plus. Grinding time is about 2 minutes and you have to dial in by dose. However, that is with a medium dark roast (Onyx Eclipse). So, it will work (at least it does for me) but it isn't practical as a daily driver. I have a K6 and I normally have 3 clicks that can give me a double shot and I can choose which one works for my tastes. More than that, it allows for adjustment as the beans age. Not so much with the C2.
Now, as for quality, neither is great. My C2 has awful threads that cross thread so easily. The K6 rubber grip is loose only after a few months and the zero-point drifts, a lot. Lesson learned, spend more.
Anyway, thank you for this budget battle. I watch your short videos all of the time. It is nice to see some longer content coming out.
Thank you for sharing your feedback! Always a pleasure. Many more interesting videos are coming soon 🤍☕️👏
Amazing video, i was planning on buy kingrinder k6, greetings from Peru and thank you

Thank you! Glad to hear that 🤍☕️😊
a very good review. thanks
Thank you! ☕️🤍
the best video for the pricerange !
☕️🤍👏
Hello, gongratulations fot the great job you do with this chanell! Due to these videos I fell in passion with the espresso :) I bought Delonghi EC260 and I am currently using the original presurised basket. I am usin about 10-12 grams of cofee for a shot about 40-45 grams -more grams of cofee is too strong for me I think. My next step is grinder - a budget one - I beleve best option for about 150$ is a hand one.
I woulld appreciate your advise about which one of the following will match beat for my needs:
1. Timemore C3 ESP -price about 90USD
2. KINGRINDER K4 -price about 150USD
3. MISCHIEF M40 -replica of Comandante - price about 90USD , later if the clix and the axis breaks -will be replaced with the original one from Comandante which is about 45USD.
Priority is the best taste of the espresso.
Thank you in advance!
The handle holder of normcore is very clever; it is simple and decouples.
💯☕️🤍
this dudes voice made this already good video better and very relaxing to watch

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT VIDEO 😀☕✌️☕👍

Thank you very much very helpful 🌹
Thank you! ☕️🤍👏😊
This was very helpful. What is the best grind setting for a light roast poor over coffee with the 1Zpresso?
Hi there, would advise to refer to 1Zpresso grind settings reference and keep going finer until you feel tasting is too harsh, then go back a few clicks. It is all about testing for yourself 🤍☕️
hello good morning, I watched it very carefully and was impressed with its quality, I'm from Brazil and you helped me a lot, success to you my friend, hugs
You are more than welcome! :)
thank you for this. i’ve been trying to look for a hand grinder without breaking the bank. 🎉. all the $300~$600 grinders look amazing, but it’s way too much 😢
Thank you, we have many more interesting videos in the works. Hope you will enjoy them ☕️🤍
Very nice review.
Thank you! 🤍☕️
Hello! Is it that much of a difference between Kingrinder k2 and timemore c3 in the pour over coffee? If so, would the k1 get me similar results as the c3? Because i can get the k2 for the same price as the c3 and the k1 for -11 euros.
Hi there, it is tought to say, the C3 might have the slight edge over the K2, but the versatility of the K2 is much better. We personally wouldn't recommend going with the K0 or K1, K2 is the better option over them 🤍☕️
hello, greetings from Slovakia, I need advice on which manual espresso grinder under 100 euros would you recommend? thank you, I wish you much success.
Hi there, the Kingrinder K2 is a wonderful option for that 💯
@@ourcoffeeshelter Hello, thank you for the advice, I really like the grinder, just one more thing, what is the difference between K2, K4 and K6?
Thank you for this wonderful. May I please ask you for your prompt advice?? I just received a Timemore C3 Max Pro. I heard wonderful things about the King K6 grinder. I will drink almost exclusively pour over coffee with metal filters and on occasion cloth filters. I grew up in Puerto Rico with 28 Coffee trees on our family property and my earliest memories are harvesting, drawing, roasting and brewing, our wonderful coffee from our own property. The coffee growers I would laugh at you for using filters. We didn’t use filters at all, used cloth filters or filters when we moved out of Puerto Rico and encountered cultures that used paper filter, we realized there was a far different flavor base. So I love the richness and the silkiness of coffee that has not been filtered through paper. However, I do want to introduce myself to different flavor bases. That being said, I will predominantly use pour over. Which grinder would you think would serve me better. I care about flavor. Thank you very much.
Kingrinder K6, 1Zpresso K series, 1Zpresso ZP6 Special, any of these would be prefect for you 🤍☕️
what hand grinder I need for turkish coffee, thanks!
Hi, may I know which is better? C3 esp pro or the kingrinder k2? Primary use is for espresso. From the awesome video above, i know that k2 is better than c3 esp, but what about against c3 esp pro?
Hi there, thank you for the kind words. The K2 would still win here for espresso 🤍☕️👌
The K4 can be had under 100 as well and is geared for espresso specifically.
Could be, but generally speaking it will be above the $100, hence it will be included in our upcoming video ($100 to $250) 🤍☕️
This depends on where you live. I live in Singapore and the K4 or K6 cost around 120 SGD (
Damn. Just ordered the Timemore C3ESP Pro for my espresso machine - wish I’d seen this first!
нормально. а что бы предпочел?
what would you recommend for moka pot (medium-fine grind)?
THANKS A LOT!
Hi there, Kingrinder K2, Normcore, 1Zpresso Q2, or Timemore C3s.
All will be great ☕️🤍
@@ourcoffeeshelter thank you sir 🙏🙏🙏
Dúvida cruel: C3 ou K0 para coados? Estão o mesmo valor no AliExpress.
Which step number should i have on the C2 for a light roast on a moka pot!
Hello, do you know the mill of MHW-3BOMBER BLADE R3? Do you recommend it ? You can do a versus
my timemore c2 is broken, thinking what to buy if its kingrinder k2 or the timemore c3 esp.
I want a grinder that would be good for both moka pot and espresso.
Should I get c3esp or k2? K6 is unfortunately not in stock.
I also want to know. Hope that there will be answer🙂
k2, but if you can, get k4
Definitely K2 🤍☕️
Hi. I am a beginner. I just need a grinder for a 3 cups moka pot and aereopress. Which grinder would you recommend? And how the grinding size different between a moms pot and aereopress?
Many thanks
Hi there, get the Timemore C3s ☕️🤍
Is there a big diff. in all-around grinder between jx-pro n kingrinder k6?
Hi there, we are working on a new video that will include the K4 and K6, plus a new grinder from 1Zpresso that is similar to the Jx-pro ☕️🤍
Hello Great, better than ever. You are the best, good luck
❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤍☕
K2 works great with French press to flair? It has flexibility?
Hi there, it does, but it requires more grinding force in espresso ☕️🤍
It would be amazing if you could do these for electric. Like up to 300$ and then under 1000
Upcoming video, best electric under 300$.
Will be ready in one week 😉🤍☕️
@@ourcoffeeshelter sweet
i have hario amd goof for moka pot
Hi, I’m not able to find the k2 (same for k4 and k6) in my country, and I want a nice hand grinder mainly for doing espresso: what you suggest between c3esp and kingrinder k1? (The c3esp in my country is a bit more expensive than the k1)
Kingrinder made new line up, try the one with similar burr to their K2 👌☕️🤍
what some cores have 6 angles and other have 7? What is the significance of those angles?
Aren't these all Chines? What about Hario & Porlex which I see regularly recommended at this price point (at least for non-esspresso use)?
timemore c3s vs c3esp which one do you recommend?
Hi there, probably the C3esp ☕️🤍
How is the new Normcore compared to the older v2 tastewise?
Cleaner and crisper in filter coffee. This burr geometry, which is inspired from the Comandante, is really good for clarity 👌☕️🤍
How about grinding for Turkish coffee? Also I wonder hand grinder vs electric ones
Definitely you need an electric one
Best manual grinder for cold brew?? I will not be adjusting this will be dedicated to coarse grinding. So what’s the best grinder for my specific ask??
Either Normcore V3, or the 1Zpresso Q2s. We have discount codes for both of these and you can feel free to benefit from!
I am deciding between these two:Timemore C3ESP for 67$ and Kingrinder K2 for 84$, What would you recommend?
K2 👌🤍☕️
i hope i win im still using a black and decker coffee/spice grinder for espresso(the CBG5)
any good grinder fot moka pot?
Hi there, all of them can grind for Moka pot. Moka Pot will require coarser grind setting that espresso, and as you can see from the demonstration in the video, all of them were relatively achievable to grind for espresso. We would recommend the Kingrinder K2 for that ☕️🤍
Coolest guy ever see 🙈, looks like, he fulfilled his moksha.😆 Now in a Nirvana state.😇
☕️🤍👏
Is grinding for espresso worth it?
It is about your budget, and at $120, no electric grinder could beat the tastewise of the Kingrinder K2 🤍☕️
Which is better? C3 or k2?
Hi there, if you watch the video, you will be able to decide that 🤍☕️
Hahaha! I was exactly like this haha! Ceramic grinder and 3-5 minutes grinding for espresso 😂😂😂 dEspresso 😂
🤍☕️😅👌
All pain, no gain.
What about MHW-3BOMBER BLADE R3 ?
☕☕☕
Love Is Important ❤️
Indeed! 😊🤍☕️
Good afternoon neighbor
I just got my kingrinder k4 about a month ago, and i can say that it's better from electric grinders about 6-7x the price
Extra gift, the only 30" grind for espresso
Then you have to make sure to check our upcoming video, which will include botht the K4 and K6 ☕️🤍😊👌
Have a lovely weekend!
@@ourcoffeeshelter I am waiting with passion, kardas👍
@@ourcoffeesheltersounds very interesting. Any chance you could include a test of Turkish coffee grind level? I have the K6 and think it's pretty capable for this (at 28 clicks). The K4 is supposed to be better, being more optimized for fine grinding (espresso and Turkish), but when I tried one it took to much effort. It was much faster than the K6 though.
Another observation I have that maybe you could comment on is that the K6 is supposed to have the same burrs as the 1Zpresso K-Plus, but I'm practice the Kingrinder is much slower.
@@Yirgamalabares the k4 is very fast for espresso,18gr 58mm portafilter in 30", some light roast need high hand torque but the time remain the same
I am thinking to buy the k6 too cause I drink more acidic/light roast coffee and may be better for that
P.s. off course I am already happy with the K4
@@wakeawaken430
The K4 is very fast, but it requires a lot of effort compared to their other models. There's no free lunch.
Excellent review, but the audio is very bassy!!
Will try to improve it 🤍☕️
Anyone got the timemore s3 and kingrinder k6? I cant decide between them.. i do mostly pourovers. S3 is a bit cheaper than the K6..
Get the K6, we have both and we can say that the K6 has the edge in clarity over the S3.
@@ourcoffeeshelter thanks!! :)
pls rev 1zpresso Q air

Under 100$? Why are traditional turkish coffee grinders (which grind finer than espresso) so much cheaper than these fancy "innovations"r?
WAIT WHAT¿ what's that? I will google it since I want to enter the coffee world
why not exagrind?
