Agree with pretty much everything. I opted for an x-pipe over h because of the Engine Master's episode where they compare straight, h, and x pipes and the x-pipe squeezes out the most power (by a negligible amount). The h-pipe does have an attractive deep note to it.
Are you still running a Bama tune with all these mods? If so, I think you're overdue for a custom tune. My tuner reported a lot of knock / poor timing. He significantly increased the car's output (+75 lb-ft @ 2.5k RPM and about +8% at peak). This would also make for a great episode - before and after custom tune results, etc.

The x pipe also gives you more pops and crackles so it depends on what you prefer... I love the pops so the x is for me

Hello Nate, always happy to watch your videos. I was wondering how much labor cost you to install your LTs? Also is it worth it when you live in a state that requires emissions? For my off road Hpipe it’s very easy swapping back to my stock mid pipe to pass emissions but wondering if doing the same with LTs would be too much of a headache $$$ ?

I have a question, what do you think about the: "BBK cold air intake" combined with the "BBK 1-5/8-Inch Long Tube Ceramic Headers", combined with the "SR Performance Off-Road H-Pipe (05-10 GT w/ Long Tube Headers)" combined with the "4:10 ring and pinion gear kit" ?? Nate can you get some regular S197 keychains made for us, my fogs aren't in the middle. WEll actually I don't have fogs on mine since I'm using the shelby gt grille but would be ok with having the stock ones on a keychain. Not trying to knock your keychain but not all of us own an eleanor look car. :)

Yes the x-pipe squeezes out more horse power but the h-pipe has more horse power down low there for making your ride more fun to drive also I like the tone a little better than the x-pipe.

PJ Morrison yes headers are night and day difference, would work best with pulley/ tune , most bolt on cobras make 430wrhp- 500wrhp

Especially with a supercharged car, with my ls1 car it does give up a little torque down very low (due to the loss of low rpm velocity in the primaries) but mid range and especially top end it feels like a different car, it used to feel like it was running out of breath around 6000, now 6600 rpm comes so much quicker, I'd say3.5k 4K rpm plus it's night and day, you mean a supercharger pulley or under drive pullies? UDPs are kinda negligible in my opinion but a blower pulley will shine even more with a set of long tubes in there!

The reason it has a bad reputation, is because people just cannot appreciate what people enjoy in a car. They're logic is "If it's not a 2,000HP supra doing 5's in the 1/4 mile it's a shit car!"

To much power? Ur nuts my cobra makes 650 and it’s still slow , and the interior is the best part of the 03-04 cobras, the newer mustangs have too much crap in them weighing em down . If u don’t like that they didn’t offer navigation or any of the other gay options the newer stangs offers, buy a bmw

Sky Shover it’s very deep and aggressive at idle and low rpms but it makes this loud scream that’s deep but raspy at high rpms and I honestly love it. It’s a one of a kind sound and it never gets old

Great video man. I have an 07 GT 5speed and I enjoy watching your vids. I am going to respectfully disagree with long tube headers being the best bolt on for our cars. the s197 is a 3 valve motor, 2 exhaust and 1 intake...so our cars exhaust flows really well stock. So I would not recommend this mod for a stock or even mild bolt on car. You need big power adders like SC or NOS for this to be worth the investment IMO. Also, anyone even considering going turbo down the road should definitely hold off as this would be a huge waste of money. In a final analysis to much money for too little result. They do look awesome and provide killer sound, however, power wise no so much.
Christopher Roberts actually man the valves are two intake and one exhaust. Which is why helping that single valve flow better is such a beneficial mod.

Long tube headers are not worth the price nor labor to install $600 headers + $600 install at a shop= maybe 25hp

The Battle Lion Hahaha definitely man! I bought BBK Long tubes with a Catted x pipe for about $1200 (and they’re supposedly one of the cheapest out there). Labor was $450 so I almost spent $2000 for a slight increase in HP. The good part is that it sets you up for future mods such as forced induction.
That is the reason I only did muffler delete in my mustang gt 2005. Easy to do it and cheap.
Keep this mustang but also buy a newer model mustang v8 and upgrade it
