I love this movie so much as a huge fan of dragon ball this was really awesome to watch in theaters in my opinion.
Yea hands down this is easily number 1 for me, when it comes to the dragon ball movies
@@bloodyjack6800 indeed same here as well and honesty between this and dragon ball super Broly and dragon ball super superhero it’s such a great time to be a dragon ball fan right now In my opinion.
@TevyaSmolka true in the this current age and with DB Daima releasing in a couple months plus sparking zero coming out the following month it's a good time to be a DB fan despite the unfortunate passing of Toriyama
@@bloodyjack6800 agreed and it still makes me sad 😢 that we lost toriyama this year because he’s basically the creator of dragon ball and with him gone it makes me sad 😢 that we aren’t going to see more stories from him, but I am hoping really hoping that Daima his last story turns out amazing and injected the same wonder and magic that the original dragon ball did back in the day which would be amazing in my opinion.

Like much of super, it was a really dumb oversight.
Also, the “I will not let you destroy my world” was pretty lame. They try to overcompensate with the sheer amount of yelling but it comes across as too forced. The sense of real stakes is never really there. There isn’t any foreshadowing or build up like in z. So this just comes across as a little over the top and cringe inducing.
Tbh yeah they could've finally made super saiyan vegeta canon through that scene but overall I still enjoy this movie, and thank you very much for watching the whole video I really appreciate it
@@bloodyjack6800 and how does super saiyan goku keeping up with a powered up beerus make any sense? Honestly…aside from some cool moments and beerus and whis being great additions, this movie is pretty flat. No sense of stakes or consequence and goku’s character assassination was already underway smh.
To be fair, this was the first new official Dragon Ball media (that wasn't a videogame) since the 90's, they didn't have anything before this movie to foreshadow or build up to Beerus, Whis or SSJ God. But for the movie's runtime, I think they did pretty well.
(Also, Vegeta never attained SSJ3 because it has major stamina issues that even Goku seemingly never learned to mitigate, so he probably saw it as something not worth pursuing.)
