It's not what narcolepsy is though I have it what it is, is the body attacking hypocretin cells in the brain (it promotes muscle tone and wakefulness interrupting your circadian rhythm) which causes excessive tiredness during the day falling asleep randomly or "sleep attacks" are a possible symptoms that not everyone gets and not the actual disorder itself, it actually fucking irritates the living shit out of me when movies or tv shoes portray something a different way without bothering to do any research, which is unusual for Amazon to do, it's like saying people with bipolar are psychotic and dangerous.

As a narcoleptic, I’m glad whenever our condition gets any publicity! (Though, its never presented very accurately, but honestly the experience of narcolepsy and sleep disorders are very hard to convey) - really happy to hear it’s not purely a plot device and represents the actor. It’s hard for narcoleptics to achieve high levels of success, since people mistake our sleepiness for laziness. So glad he made it.
I also have a brain tumor, (hence multiple neurological diseases), but i get annoyed how often it’s used as a plot device.
