Roofing our barndominium was never something we planned on having to do. But, life throws you crazy curve balls and you have to deal with them so that's what we are doing today.

We are installing our metal roof very similarly to how you might install a shingle roof. First OSB, then Ice and Vapor Shield and then our metal roofing.

i havent watched one of your videos in awhile so im way behind is the house your building next to al's house in the mountains or somewhere else because it kind of looks like it would be in that area

It depends on how much profit or equity you stand to make with the remodel. If your time is worth that amount then go for it! If you won’t make much equity with the remodel then probably not. Even though ours is a head ache at times our fingers are crossed when we refinance it the equity will make it worth it!

I guess in a way it's good you had to take the roof off. It would be horrible to have rats and mice in your roof insulation. Then you would have to deal with all of that after you had more of the build done. Now you know that your roof is done properly with no unwanted guests.
