I can't cope with all these comments saying that timothee should've won the globe. The kid is very talented but he is only now getting started. Oldman has been giving spectacular performances for over 30 years, he should've won a damn globe and an oscar YEARS ago. Now stop being so damn salty and accept the fact that Oldman won for good reason. Timothee will get his award when the time comes.

I just came out of watching Darkest Hour. He's SO good in it, he deserves ALL the awards (Bafta, Oscars, etc.). I love him as an actor, and he's got those eyes that not only sparkle but convey such deep emotions he ends up making me cry, no matter what role he's in. GIVE HIM THE AWARDS!

Funny thing is: he always bashed the Golden Globes as being “not a serious award” and even promoted a boycott once. I’m happy for him, though. He deserves an Oscar.
Yeah I read he boycotted it because he felt it was a ratings vehicle rather than a celebration of the arts.

I swear to God, his take on Commisioner Gordon was one of the finest acting performances I've ever seen. I mean it's one thing when actors become a character, but then to talk, and behave like it's second nature is uncomparable. I'm not trying to sound pretentious or be like a kiss ass or anything, but if you watch the scene in TDK where Batman, CG, and Dent are having an argument on a roof-top, Dent and Gordon start throwing moral jabs at each other, and Gordon says: "Don't cloud the fact that they've clearly got people in your divison too!" (Paraphrasing), and he puts his hands on his hips like a middle aged cop would. I mean, he was naturally a cop at that moment. You can't coach that!
