    I am so happy many of you here have an interest to move to Africa especially to Uganda my Nation. I hope I can meet all of you after I settle back home from Hong Kong with my family

    This is exactly what I need as I prepare to move to Uganda this next year, as a Black American woman! This perspective is so important for us because people underestimate how integral our skin color will be in Africa. Thank you!

      I'll be joining the Peace Corps service for 2 years there. Not sure which village I'll be placed in yet, but very excited, and realistic too :)

    I moved to USA, I am from Uganda but miss home and will be going back soooooooooooon, I cant manage American life, its not for me

    this channel was made for me.... Kaylan from aainafrica.com sent me here. I went to Pretoria, Soweto, White River, Johannesburg and Thulamahashe South Africa . We have nothing to fear. Africa is for us. I'm building a home, starting a business and going back part time God willing. after a 6 week visit I now feel like America is the foreign country. I've been home 2 weeks amd I'm still crying from missing Africa and my extended adopted family.

      The continent does something to you that you can't resist. It's like you'll never get enough of its beauty, the people and of course all of the insightful experiences. I can't wait to visit more countries on the continent. I haven't been to South Africa yet but its on the list!

    Do you have a video discussing the hiring process you went through? Are you in a teaching program there? I would love to learn more information about this and how I can get started. Also, your locs are beautiful! I've had mines for almost three years and I love it!

      Hey there! Yes, I went through a recruitment agency. The hiring process varies depending on the school. I did a video called so you want to teach overseas. I go through the initial process.     wow ! great video. im studying middle childhood education, do you have to have a 4 year degree to teach in UGanda? I have visited over 30 countries and I really want tomove to africa

      I think that is a requirement, especially in the International schools. That is really amazing that you've visited so many countries. Where do you want to move in Africa? Have you lived anywhere else? I'm assuming you are from the States.

      ah ok thanks, I have studied abroad in Brazil and Dominican Republic. I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I will visit Africa December 10-January 23 . I plan on visiting a few countries, Possibly I will stop in Uganda.

      I've learned Swahili and absolutely love the language but I'm far from fluent.
