It comes from Joe being the epitome of the moron fan, all emotion and no brains. He's been saying for 30 years since he joined the FAN (and probably many more), "I'm so TIRED of this - I want to win NOW!". Well, yeah, and then they don't build, and they keep on losing. If in 1994 or 2003 or 2018 or whenever they went down a stable 5 year rebuilding road, where might they be? Yet Joe is still looking for the quick fix. He still hasn't figured it out.

Lions fan here. I found Joe when the Lions played the Jets. I absolutely love his passion for his team. So brutally honest. I can SO relate to his frustration. I do agree that you need to give Saleh and his crew one more year and that the Jets should go after Derek Carr. Best of luck in 2023!

I remember very well when Joe B was very happy that the Jets won meaningless
games at the end of that season. Those totally meaningless wins cost the Jets getting Trevor Lawrence and many of us Jets fans were very upset that the Jets won those meaningless games knowing they would then not get Trevor Lawrence. Joe B rationalized the wins saying he just wants to win. Made no sense when the Jets would have had a QB for the next 10 years by just losing a couple meaningless games.

Sometimes I get the feeling he secretly does not want the Jets to ever win a Super Bowl as then he would have nothing to bitch and complain about regarding the Jets .It was a simple concept lose a couple meaningless games and the Jets get a QB ( Trevor Lawrence ) that teams were salivating over having but he cared more about winning a couple meaningless games at the end of the season. Not specifically, but Joe is there for his passion, not his intellect. If he were the GM of any of his teams, they would immediately run up an unworkable team salary of big name players and coaches then proceed to lose for years on end.
I do believe that he wants the Jets to win the Super Bowl. For example, I remember the fury when they lost the AFC Championship Game in Denver. He could barely compose himself enough to go on air that night.
The Jets are building something special on the defensive side of the ball. Sauce Gardner is arguably the best CB in the NFL right now. All they need to do is get a QB that can run an effective and efficient offense. They already have talent at RB and WR. The OL and TE positions need to improve. I really donât think theyâre that far away from competing for a division title and playoffs every year.

I'm a lifelong Giant fan. Jets fans should not despair. Saleh has built a solid, talented defense. The Jets are a QB and couple of O linemen away from being a legitimate playoff team. Zach and Darnold were huge first round busts, unfortunate but it happens.

FYI, the Giants did not increase their ticket prices this year, at least my section.
The announcement said there will be increases for select sections, but not more than 10%.
Also, they will have flex pricing for individual games, i.e. high profile games will be priced higher (like Dallas for example) and out of conference games priced less.
The total package did not increase.

I agree with Joe on LeFleur. Give him a real QB and we'll see. Carr is my choice too, as Joe says. Good take. (One of my few childhood memories: "Mom! The game's not over yet. Why are they switching to stupid Heidi???" I, too, was 15 at the time.)
LaFleur is awful. Heâs Gase 2.0. Heâs dreadful here - yes with dreadful QBs. But heâll always be dreadful unless he adapts his approach.

Just like the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs before they won their first World Series in almost a century, the New York Jets are cursed until they shake it off and get back to whatever future Super Bowl they return to and win it again. Hate to say it but it's true. It seems like every pro sport organization has a team that is cursed or jinxed after winning their first championship ages ago and can't seem to get out of the schnide no matter how successful a team's season becomes after coming up short time and time again. Maybe in this decade, the Jets might get a breakthrough season and get back to winning football. Good to see Joey Benz have a clear and calm demeanor while evaluating another disastrous Jets season. 2023 could be a turnaround year for the Jets.
