I admire the fact that she still proceed to eat the food even if she doesn't like it. It means she's grateful for everything she receives, good or bad.

Yes
I am half Filipino and Half Pakistani. Watching this makes me happy. :-)
was mom Filipina? or dad?
@@BLaCkKsHeEp Mom is Filipina and dad is Pakistani
Which do mangos do you prefer more; those grown in Pakistan or the Philippines?
@@echidnaralsei1473 haven't tried pakistani mangoes. I grew up in the Philippines. đ€Ł
@@echidnaralsei1473 PH mangoes man. Unless they have the same mangoes in Pakistan, then its a tie
Wow! As a Filipino I was not offended when the girl said she didnât like any of the food. Instead I was happy. Sheâs not faking her reaction just to please Filipinos unlike other CZcamsrs. I am thanking her for her honesty and even though she didnât like what she was eating, she still tried to taste/ eat it.
She was kidding
She like it too she's kidding only you sew the other one girl she trying to take her halo2 but she said even she not like it she want to continue to eat but her face she like it
I love how they don't sugarcoat their words about the food. Thank you! From Philippines. â€ïž
hi :)
the food are sugary already lol
@@mercadv It's called dessert for a reason. Lol
â@@angelcruxx8997 to be fair, our desserts are TOO sugary, compared to other asian or european delicacies lol, and way too oily
@@agnusdeiquitollispecatamundi it became oily cause we mostly use coconut. and coconut has its natural oil when cooked.
That old guy gives off really sweet grandpa vibes. I'm happy he enjoyed the food.
And he has very high standards and Filipino food passed!
Thank you Mehboob for trying the sweets for the sake of the Filipinos! The Philippines is a country much exploited but full of the kindness people! I grew up with a neighbor from the Philippines and she made delicious foods! Her husband ran a pawn shop and they were much successful! Hardworking people! â€
Good job mehboob
People exploited nature not only a specific country but all of nature itself sadly
How the ladies described what Ube and Halaya means in their language is exactly how ube halaya is cooked here in the Philippines
Ikr?? I had chills on how it was spot on.
maybe we got that from them a very long time ago
If you're really familliar with cooking, you can kinda guess how a food is made. Considering that some foods can be cooked the same way or similarly.
Austronesian languages, am I right?
@@hanzquejano7112 well, it could also be brought to the PH via trade with Muslims were one of the earliest trading partners in Philippines (before it was even called Philippines)
This is a no BS reaction to Filipino snacks. Such truthful words.
As a Filipino I am so happy and thankful for their REAL and RAW JUDGEMENT about our food. Thank you for liking it! Mabuhay!
9:17 "i didnt like it" then proceeds to eat more. Awwww she's so precious. đ„ș
All love from PH
Watch the full thing. Dumbsh*t
I think she's jokingđ€Ł
I have met many people from other countries but have never met anyone from Pakistan until I started watching these videos. They are a joy to watch and they make me smile
Salamat for trying our deserts! Mabuhay ang Pakistan!
I love watching all the participants and their honest reaction to all the foods they try. If they don't like something they are never disrespectful of the food which says a lot about their kindness and openess to try new things and appreciate them even when it is not to their liking. I want to send a care package of things to try from Texas, I will be emailing asking for a PO box or address to send items.
that would be funđ
I love how honest they are. I mean, it's pretty normal, not everyone would like what we love, we've got different taste buds, and cultures we grew up to, but still, I appreciate that they tried something unusual for them. âšđđ»
i think the woman who interpreted "Ube Halaya" is on point because cooking ube halaya is literally standing while mixing on big cooking pots
I'm glad that you guys liked our desserts. Thanks for featuring Filipino food.
the other woman said "I don't like it" then proceed eating it đđđđđ overall great reactions on our food thank you for sharing some of our food to these beautiful peopleâ€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Their honesty is humbling, and how they have expressed admiration for the Filipino food and the culture is just heartwarming! Thank you! đđ„ș
Sending love from the Philippines.
Slamat po
Something so pure and enjoyable about Watching cultures share food. Brings me quite the smile
Great to see Mama Mustafa's smiling face!! It's great to see him open up more. You can tell that's he's becoming more comfortable in front of the camera!!
We're very familiar with Flan, here in Boston. People from Puerto Rico are known for Flan.. it's like egg custard.
It is egg custard. That's what flan means. Some has more egg, some more milk, but it's custard.
I think it's more a global dish. We have it in the Netherlands also, although we don't eat it that much.
Yes!!
Yes it's flan but with ours it has more milk :-)
Grandpa is liking some the stuff :) I love his smile so much :)
I love watching them smile đ Greetings from Poland â€ïž
And this Pakistani will always love KrĂłwki, the second best Polish export. The first being the great Air Commodore WĆadysĆaw JĂłzef Marian Turowicz, for us Pakistanis â€
@Naeem Malik I haven't heard about him until today, thank you for that đ
It's interesting that Ube Halaya's translation in their language is "Stand and Mix it." Well, that translation is quite similar to how we Filipinos cook Ube Halaya while standing or just sitting and mixing the jam in a large wok or talyase.
From the Philippines we love you guys thank you for trying our sweet hope more Filipino food will introduce in your Chanel thank you my brother and sister
For those who would like to try Halo Halo, it's pretty easy to make at home, but depending on your location, you may need to substitute some of the more typical ingredients if you don't have access to an Asian grocer with imports from the Philippines. There's a bunch of different recipes online. Personally, I prefer my Halo Halo with sweet corn (most make theirs with sweet red beans), saba, gelatine cubes, jackfruit, ube halaya, macapuno, ice cream and that little square of leche flan, of course. A lot of the mix-ins are very sweet, so if you want to tone it down a tad either add more shaved/crushed ice or use regular milk in place of evaporated milk. It's such a great summer treat, I always crave it on really hot days and I was so happy to see it being enjoyed by others.
You can make a halohalo with just about any fruit, jelly or other goodies đ
alternate to Halo-Halo is to just prepare Mais-con-Hielo which is almost the same but only has corn kernels.
@@icdeadpipol i found mais con yelo's taste a bit on the more exotic side... đ
A typical fruit blend halohalo would be better for first timers...
Even just buko pandan halohalo đ
"The actual treasure is beneath" so precious!
Just seeing all their smiles is amazing!
Love how they frankly evaluated the food based on how they had tasted it. Those genuine comments are very admirable.
I just love seeing friendship in action! This was wonderful!
Sooooo mama Mustafa does have a sweet tooth!? âșïžđđŸđ I love some Filipino desserts as well and I make the flan all the time for my friends. It is also known in Cuba and Puerto Rico where they add mango puree for a ymmmmmy version âșïž. Ube is not one of my favorites. It's a potato basically but I love potatoes! Our favorite summertime Filipino treat is Halo halo---oh my goodness it is the best when it's hot outsideđđœ. In the US we love banana splits...actually anything with ice cream or sherbert usually works đŻ. Naseeba and Radha you are Radiant â€ïžâ€ïž
Lmfaoooo she said it look like ink pad and its not a lie đ
I laughed out loud at that
Theres so much more here in The Philippines when it comes to food! Thank you for feauturing some of our delicacies! We really like halo halo when sun is punishing us during summer season. đ
My most fave group right here (along with Dr. Tahir and GSK)! Mustapha surely is a softie for sweet treats, isn't he!? Next time, perhaps they can try some Shanghai lumpia, pancit, and chicken adobo!?! đ€©
I've subbed on this channel 2 years ago. Thank you for featuring some my country's food. The reaction of the guest tribal people in Pakistan to every foreign thing presented to them has been a delight of a cultural experience for me.
Thank you for trying our desserts and I love all your honest review since not all love eating sweets â€ïž
I'm from Philippines đ”đ and I love to watch the other country about they try to taste The Filipino food we are thankful for ur reaction and giveng a good reaction.... Thank u so much đ
Thank you for trying Filipino desserts. Watching you guys make me smile, like how these filipino desserts make us smile. So heart warming. â€ïž Much love from the Philippines. đ„° â€ïž
Food connects people. Hope and pray for peace everywhere
I've been in this channel since I could remember and watching these great people trying our delicacies is a joy to watch.
Pakistani people are one of the kindest and most generous people in the world I know. They would invite you without them knowing anything about you. They will feed you without you asking them, nor they will ask anything in return. One of the most humane people I know. Despite how bad the media portray the country of Pakistan, I know how good their citizens actually are.
I love seeing people from different countries trying our food.
Great episode is always! Mustafa seems to be opening up a little bit more with a lot more smiles and energy. Apparently some people have been saying he doesn't eat the food.... I don't know who could have said that. đ€ Everybody's doing a great job, keep up the work!
I think Mama Mustafa is only being polite, but also honest. I dislike people who say food was great, but actually didn't like it, but I was raised that way, too....
@@Lassisvulgaris you're definitely right on that, he is kind of the Simon Cowell of the food channel right now đ. Is a very proud man that knows what he likes.
I think he seems so happy these days because not only has he learned to relax a little in front of the camera, and not have to act like an Elder, but the fact that being on the channel helped him finally be able to go on his Hadj showed him that people he never even met cares about him.
Mustafa could at least try to take a mouthful big enough to really taste the food like the other participants, not teensy little nibbles.
@@NintenGamer I've been watching a lot of these videos and I have noticed that anyting from another country other than America he will sometimes take another bite or try a little bit more, but if it's from America he usually doesn't even want to try it or only a little tiny bite and says it's gross. He's an older gentleman so he may be ex-military so I'm just guessing he's seen some things and just really loves his country, which there's nothing wrong with. I just wish the whole world would get over their hatred for other countries and people and just become one nation under God..or Allah, or whatever your religion is. I think if we all stopped fighting and just became one nation it would take care of poverty and hunger and droughts and whatever other problems there are in the world. You imagine just being able to go anywhere you'd like in the entire world and get a job wherever or move anywhere. But because people that are in charge decide that we can't do that, then we just have to listen to what they say. I don't know how we let one person or government decide what our laws are. We vote someone in the office at makes those decisions for us, but why can't we just vote on that also and make our own decisions on what we want. I think I've gotten a little bit off the subject...đ. Sorry about that đ
Aaawww đ€ thank you for liking our desserts đźđâ€ïžđ”đ
Hahaha this is my first time seeing people in a yt channel to mix first the halo halo before compared to other foreigner who just eat it straight
Thumb up to guys
I love their humor and honesty âșïž They made me smile. The best food tasting from yt.
Such an honest, humble and very appreciative individuals. Thank you for trying our sweets and hope we could offer you more âșïžâșïžâșïž
I am proud that Tribal People tried our delicacies â€ïž I am fan of you since 2021 â€ïž
Raw honesty. I like it. Thank you for appreciating our food despite of cultural differences. Urdu people should come and visit us here in Philippines. You are most welcome.
Urdu people?
Thank you for trying Filipino desserts. You guys are amazing for your genuine reaction to every kind of cuisine you try. đ„°
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I'm glad you all got to try some of our desserts! There's plenty more and hopefully y'all will get to try them. Love watching your videos! It is really a great joy to see.
Divided by what not,
United by humanity.
Shukriya that all of you liked it
Love from Philippines
"You were generous with the bowl, not with the food"
He's got you there, guys.
How about doing an episode where everyone remembers a few of their favorite dishes of all time they have tried and they get to try them again?
This is a great idea! đĄđĄ
Thank you for tasting our Filipino food đ”đ
Thank you for tasting our Food. we appreciate your opinions. we hope to taste the food from your country.
Halo halo is def one of the best desserts in the Ph! So happy you guys enjoyed it haha đ
Filipino here!! all i can say is Shukria for sharing! eek number!
Itâs nice seeing Mama so happy and excited about the food. â€
Thank you for the good comments. Tribal people still have the good manners intact in them. Their gentleness is a ne of a kind.
The english of the two brothers is getting very good! :D
she really is right... When we are making Ube Halaya we stand up and stir the big wolk with big wooden spoons or big spatulas to cook the ube halaya.... I am amazed
I really enjoyed seeing them all enjoy the sweets.
Finally! I always watch them and now my country's food is featured! Love it! Thank You!
They're so adorable. I love their genuine reactions đ„șâ€ïž
wow! this is mind blowing in our old folklore we have a diety named HALIYA she is the moon goddes. And they call HALAYA as moon. Unfortunately UBE can only grow in tropical countries. It is also very difficult to cultivate.
Many Philippine languages have words from Sanskrit so it's not surprising that there will be some linguistic influence from the subcontinent. In this case though, halaya actually comes from the Spanish word "jalea"
Yeeeey salamat salamat salamat shukran for tasting Filipino sweets I waited for this too!
I love the smile on their faces, i love their commentaries on the food they eat. Keep it up guys
This is so heartwarming. đđđŒ
Standing up while mixing.
She got it right. Ube Halaya is cooked while standing up and mixing it all the time.
Their reactions are so cuuuutte!!!
This is why i subbed. Genuine reactions.
Thatâs why Tribal People are the most honest people you can get
But even if itâs bad, they still eat it and donât just say ew.
Don't skip the ad guys.... Lets help them with their school projects....
Thank you for featuring Filipino đ”đ dessert!!!
I've subbed to this channel
this channel is underrated....Luv there honestyđ
Thank you so much for trying our desserts. đ sending Love and respect from the Philippines đ

This is a very funny episode..i really appreciate the honesty. Thank you sooo much.. i was smiling the whole time i was watching.
Awww thanks for this, and I'm happy you liked our dessertsâ„ïž I'm a big fan of the whole gang.

I'm liking happy Mustafa!
Oh, yes. Always the Grand Old Man (no offence)....
@@Lassisvulgaris Ain't nothing wrong with being old or grand!
@@ToniMcGinty I know. I just didn't want to offend Mama.....
Getting there myself, BTW. I chase women, but don't remember why.....
@@Lassisvulgaris I think he would be proud to be described that way. And I'm too old to chase anything...
8:25 "treasures is beneath" this man gets it.
Mmmm. Now I want to try the halo halo.
RIGHT???? And I'd NEVER turn down flan!
@@valkyrie1066 oh my gosh!! Who turns down flan?! âșïž
they are too kind. It shows they respect Dishes from other countries.
6:05 what a coincidence that their word for "mix" is "halaya", and the word we use that means to mix is "halo".
Radha on the Halo Halo: âI didnât like it.â *keeps eating it* đ
Thanks for trying our foodâ€ïž Love from Philippines
Enjoy our Filipino disert sir...
I'm glad they like it. and it's also good they teach them how to eat it properly
