Thank you for showing a close-up of the notch and lip. At least this is ONE tool I won't have to buy to know it won't work on my 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass.

Mine had the notch but it wouldn't engage with the rim of the post. At least it ended up a relatively inexpensive ornament
