- Four Wheeler Magazine Overland Adventure 2020! In this ultimate adventure we team up with Bubba Rope and Four Wheeler magazine to explore the Arizona back country roads. The off road trip starts at the Flying E Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona with our first taste of dirt being the Hassayampa River Box Canyon Trail. From there we circle through Jerome, AZ and finally end at the historic Bumble Bee Ranch. This amazing 4x4 trip had a wide variety of vehicles which included a Toyota 4Runner, Nissan Xterra, Ford Bronco, Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Sprinter Van, and a Dodge power wagon.

Great mix of rigs
We agree. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video! Love the first gen Xterra, I have two of them my self. Keep it up! :)
Thanks!
Beautiful classic trucks 😍
Yes they are! Thanks for watching!
Will definitely like to see more xterras footage there are plenty of videos of jeeps and tacos out there
We will continue to put them out! Check out some of our earlier adventure videos as they have many xterras in them. Thanks for watching!
I appreciate that the music in this video is not overdone and that there is plenty of sound from the actual video footage. between that and the narration, it's a great added touch.
Thank you for the feedback!
5:33 he knew when to stop. If he kept on it he would have broken a CV or worse.
Truth!
Is there any videos on the 1st gen xterra build

Awesome video! I really like how your videos have a wide variety of different vehicles, and it's not just for jeeps or Tacomas. Cant wait to start my overland adventure once I'm finished with school!
Thanks! Good luck with your build.
Marlin crawler could use your intro clip to this video as to why rig set up and crawler gears are a must..lol seems to be to much gear packed into the back on most of these rigs.. slow and steady crawl is what you want on a big obstacle like that first climb.. very nice video thanks again for taking the time to record these and post them up ..
Lol..... true. We were laughing about how over packed most of the rigs were..... including ours. Between the three guys, gear, food, and camera gear, we were WAY too heavy for rock crawling.
@@RogueOverland well I for one appreciate the videos you guys do and it was only ment as a little bit of criticism for people watching who dont know why the front was lifting so easily on some of the rigs making that first climb.. its easy to set up a rig to climb vertical climbs by adding weight to the front then the trade off is it wants to nose dive on the down hill lol... finding balance for a well rounded wheeler is something most people don't think about these days .. keep up the great work I wish I had video skills like you guys do lol hopefully soon I can get my new monster out on a trail with you.
Bought an 04 in august and just found you guys. Thanks for this!!! Great insight and although I live in Washington, I was born in Tucson so I have a pretty soft spot for Arizona. You guys rock!
Thanks and congratulations on the new rig!
@@RogueOverland thanks! Dad and brother both have lifted xj's and my x is stock except for the Gibson exhaust(for now)... we've been out a few times and my x did everything just as well as them. Dad was shocked at its snow performance in about 8 inches on stock Michelin tires. I understand the front suspensions are different and therefore I will not be able to do some things they can but, growing up with an 82 and 95 bronco along with wheeling throughout AZ, wa, Idaho, mt... I'm blown away by its capability. Can't wait to buy my bilstien lift!
Nick & Nick do a great job at capturing this adventure. I'm sitting at my desk wondering why they get to have all the fun. We are really proud to have them on our A Team!!
Glad to be a part of the family!
Amazing trip guys. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
Got room for a Jeep Gladiator in that caravan? I'd love to do a trek with y'all some time
Sure! Keep an eye on our IG/FB page as that is where we post the sign up for runs.
I love the variety of vehicles all playing together. Just hope that some day I will join you too.
Thank you! Hope you make it out sometime!
Get some! That old Dodge is a beast!
Truth!
How many miles are on your Xterra these days? Still one of my favorite rigs!
160k! Thanks for watching.
I hope I'll be chosen for the next group. Looks awesome.
Fingers crossed for you!
It was great meeting you guys, checking out the country side, and examining all the custom rigs ! Hit us up next time you come through Flagstaff.
Great meeting you also! We sent you an email discussing an AZ trip we have coming up.
Loved this! Thanks for showing all of the vehicles going up the hill. Longer wheel bases did do better. Nice music and video too. Well done all around.
Thank you!
We had a great time on this trip and it was a pleasure meeting the Rogue Overland Team. I look forward to more trips together. ;)
Same here! Thanks for watching.
You have great content and editing, I don't know why you don't have more subs!
Thank you! We don’t understand either.
What camera(s) do you guys use and prefer for all your handheld footage? I like the quality and stability you guys are getting! Any gimbals or extra equipment?
Thank you! We run the latest GoPro hand held and a gimbal when we are shooting with the DSLR.
Great video and glad to see you guys posting!! Question - a buddy and I are adding GMRS radios to our rigs. What do you use/prefer for trail comms? Maybe do a video?
Thanks! Good idea on the video. The short answer is many years ago we switched from CB to ham radio for the increased reach. Just make sure you get a license. We have done well with the Icom and Baofeng radios. RuggedRadios.com provided radios at this event and they seemed to function well.
What route did you take from box canyon to Prescott?
We took some forest/dirt roads to 89 and then took that over into Prescott.
Is there a bypass for the water crossing? I’m assuming the sprinter van didn’t do that or the rock climb early in the video? Also the bridge crossing before Jerome where is that ?
You have to do some of the smaller water crossings but there is a bypass to the biggest water crossing and the hill climb.
It’s between Jerome and Prescott, AZ.
Thanks for watching!
@@RogueOverland what road is it that you take?
Sickkkk
Thanks!
How do you get to join the next one?
Thanks for watching. Keep an eye on the four wheeler magazine website, that’s where they post the sign up.
@@RogueOverland Thank you.
I cant stand large groups. They are so slow and i hate depending and waiting on people to wake up in the morning.
That’s definitely a con of the large groups. On the positive side though it is amazing to see the different rigs and see how others travel. Thanks for sharing!
