  • This is for those who had problems with finding the solenoid and starter for a Nissan Maxima 2008. There are many videos helping those to find it but my car was a little different so I felt like sharing for those who had difficulty finding it as me.
    Leave comments for questions and I'll try to answer them as best as I can.
    Thanks for watching!

    Thank you. All the the other info out there was wrong. I might as well have been looking for unicorns after wasting an hour looking where everybody else told me it would be.

      LUDOGKID thanks bro, and eBay has always treated me well, but I'd always check your local auto parts dealer or a junkyard. But you get what you pay for is what I always say...

    I have a 08 maxima cranks but no start any suggestions. I can hear fuel pump kick on thanx any input greatly appreciated

    • @arturochavez1400
      @arturochavez1400  Před 5 lety

      Check that your battery has 12v or more with a multi meter. If it's anything less than 12v it most likely won't start (charge it or jump start it), and if it's less than 10v get a new battery. If it does, then move on by checking your air intake system and all its sensors are to par (MAF, MAP, TPS, Throttle body, air intake manifold not damaged).

    • @arturochavez1400
      @arturochavez1400  Před 5 lety

      This is assuming your fuel system is good (even though your fuel pump sounds that it's working) such as fuel pressure

    • @arturochavez1400
      @arturochavez1400  Před 5 lety

      Worse case scenario is checking to see if your timing belt is off. If the timing is off, your pistons won't be moving how they're supposed to and the valves won't open/close correctly which in turn will not start your car.

    The starter it's behind the front engine support

    Is this 4 speed of 5 speed?
    I've seen that the starter on the 5 speed can be reached from under the engine.

      Here's a link I found of an easy way to diagnose a starter relay.
      I hope this is still relevant/useful to you

    Is that the starter or solenoid im confused

    • @arturochavez1400
      @arturochavez1400  Před 4 lety +1

      It's both. The solenoid is attached to the starter motor.

      Best of luck! Check for engine codes in case of other potential issues.
