Nissan Maxima Starter disassembled and repaired with sandpaper

The starter in this Maxima is a remanufactured unit, it looks recent and fresh on the outside but the inside is dreadfully worn out. I used 600 grit sandpaper and carb solvent to temporarily restore its function but I will replace it with a new starter...not a rebuilt unit

Thank you I low on cash been trying to figure out how to not get a new starter they not cheap 160 more or less

yep..the biden policies have devalued our money by big gov spending and then just printing money to pay for it...but we all end up paying more for less
