love this so much, im backpacking around costa rica for a month from june-august this year for a school trip doing like community, wildlife and sealife work, and this vlog has made me soo much more excited for it 🥳

hey! some tips i can give you:
hotel apps there are seriously great for saving money, usually u just need to leave a review of the place
if you only have maybe less than two weeks id visit the pacific side
tamarindo can be a bit “touristy” but once you get to the actual downtown part its great, i cant recommend the mercadito enough, and if youre interested in surfing lessons do look up the tides when planing your trip
also here in tamarindo you can book amazing racer tours, since it usually rains all the time over there be ready t get muddy 😅, but its so great cuz you get to discover this very nice and almost unknown beach coves
montevideo is like the greatest place for the hanging bridges thing, you might think its too crowded but the park is seriously so big that you will be able to enjoy it on your own
in arenal if you love a bit more thrilling activities dont skip the canopy tours, theres this place called tabacon that has hot springs and the whole canopy thing
san jose might not be like the most surprising city but if you have time its worth to take a walking trip and check out their amazing museums
and yes costa rica can be a bit pricey but theres some ways to get around it
first one its really about your own standards of where youre willing to sleep
second one its the food, trying to find non touristy locations (be friend a local)
also befriending a local can be great bcs for almost all of the activities they offer a locals price and a tourists price si yeah
and on the clothes section, honestly if. youre going to tamarindo youre most likely be living in your swinsuits so do pack maybe two or three so u can wash them and still have smth to wear, same with light beach cover ups and what macey said abt the microclimates can be sorted out by carrying a light hoodie or jacket

Hope you have the chance to visit Tabacon Volcano. It's wonderful!
Also you should visit Mexico, it's so much to visit, beaches, food, culture, mountains, desert, and the people are just warm and welcoming!
The name of that volcano is Arenal. Tabacon is the name of the river that have hot springs. Both places are in La Fortuna town. Pura vida! Have a good time 👍👍

Manuel Antonio is a very nice beach. But there are more beautiful beaches in Guanacaste, in Limón and other areas of Puntarenas like Santa Teresa area and Tortuga island.

My friend traveling good day backpack and pacsafe shoulder bag + Tote bag. She packing extrem light minimalist and wash chlothes. Light clothes dry easy. Only with phone but not expansive

Stay away from costa Rica. Very expensive and not worth the money. Consider Phuket instead.
Stay away from negativity you will never be happy like this, it's her money and her time not yours let her decide what to do, breath, enjoy life and Pura Vida 🇨🇷
