Quality control is key to a happy customer. I'm glad they finally got it right after 3 times but that is a little much. Always enjoy your shooting and reviews.
10/22 ROCKS !!!
For all their hype about this rifle I had hoped for better. I have had good luck with BCA. The 22LR upper had terrible accuracy and they fixed it the first time back.
I've been interested in this, but I am less so, knowing that it had to go back twice to get it right. Glad they fixed it.
Looks like I'll spend a little extra for the original...
I give BCA the benefit of the doubt.
This is not the only manufacturer that has had issues with a new product.
Just watch some of MAC's video reviews on the P320 and other firearms.
BCA has good products and a great customer service dept.
If I was looking for another 10/22 I would consider this as well.
I have no issues with BCA. But I see haters pop up and air their grievances without ever buying a BCA product.
So let the hate begin... I will always look at a BCA product for use, that's not for everyone. I give BCA Customer Service a 10/10 rating!!!
BCA product a 9/10 rating. just remember, S&W had issues with some real new pistols not very long ago. I don't see the haters spout off about that.
I like Bear Creek.Kinda like Rock Island, I've always gotten good guns from them.

Well, I have to say, if I didn't have a custom 10/22 from WAY back when the fire control group was aluminum, an added less than 1 MOA fluted bull barrel WITH fiber optic sights installed and it being the most flawless, perfect performing rifle in 22lr I've ever seen, I'd actually buy this from BCA. In all, mine cost over $1,000 to set up. And here is BCA throwing something similar for $200. PLUS, if there are problems, THEY pay to ship it to them. And, they pay to ship it back. I mean, how can you go wrong!? I'd be mad as hell and not even consider this if they made you pay to ship it to them like so many others (FN, BERETTA, ETC.) But, since they pay all the shipping, what do you have to lose!? Just send it back until they get it right. It's a fun plinker 10/22. It's not like it's a gun your life depends on. You can afford to wait awhile to get it just right. As a Master Gunsmith, I'm impressed. And I don't impress easily. I see a lot of negative comments on here, but I don't understand why. BCA LOST money on this sale having to ship it over and over again, but they still did it anyway. That's excellent customer service and really standing behind your product. And, eventually, he got a great rifle at a great price. Now, if it was a gun my life depended on, I'd be pretty pissed off. For example, I bought an FDE FN 509T to be my new carry. Total garbage. I sent it back to them once. They didn't fix the problem. So, I said screw it and just fixed myself while simultaneously upgrading nearly everything. I can't believe that FN submitted a bid to the United States military with that handgun. What a disgrace of a gun. Not only is it garbage parts inside, but they designed the thing to not be end user serviceable. Who in their right mind would send a bid for a military contract with a gun that is not end user serviceable. Most Gunsmiths won't even work on them because it's so easy to break the polymer frame while doing it. I'm so mad about that gun. It makes my blood boil. It's a great gun now that I would trust with my life, but that's only because I basically designed, machined and purchased upgraded parts for about 50% of the gun. 50%. Who designs a gun with a name as big as FN where 50% of it is total garbage and then sends it out to be tested by the US military. What an embarrassment. Everyone who had anything to do with that should be fired.

They even give you a ruger mag with it. My problem with the gun where is the iron sights? Scope messes up where can you get parts. Add a muzzle break so you can add a silencer . Not interested till then. Let them know.

Who pays for the return to factory shipping? If the buyer does 2 trips is going to be close to $100 total (maybe more) for a rifle with lots of bells and whistles, but no threaded barrel?????
The big thing is, who pays to return if it doesn’t work?
I returned an AR15 to them. They sent me an email with a Fedex label to return the rifle. When it was fixed they paid to return it to me

Not a bad looking 22. All those trips back to BCA, I don't know!!! What was the issue? Did they say?
The chamber had some burrs, needed a new barrel, fixed it.
BCA says that it's got a Match chamber so that would explain why it was choking on the ammo you were feeding it. Mine likes CCI STANDARD 22LR and cranks out nothing but jagged 1 hole groups in the ½" range at 50 yards. Everyone should have a large variety of ammo available for testing new guns. Once you find out what it likes then stock up on that. I bought 40 boxes of CCI Standard for $200.

Did they not tell you what was causing it? or what they did to fix the issue?
my old ars Stevens 62(same as 64) will have some feed issues here and there. some ammo runs well, some does not. I don't think the soft lead heads help at all as they don't slide up the ramp well if the mag isn't aligned just perfectly with the feed ramp. some winchester super X HP stuff consistently would FTF. some people say the magazines just don't like heavier ammo but I think they were only 44grain.
Do you shoot any fouling shots when you change ammo? I know with my results…..I use 10 fouling rounds and shoot a group.

I like the features,but if it’s not as reliable then I don’t want it.i like BCA overall I have 3 of there uppers in 350 legend and 223,they have been great. At least BCA fixed it eventually.also sucks it’s so ammo picky. At least finding a .22lr your gun likes best is less expensive than other rounds.
That the problem with BCA they just don't take the time to inspect their products, it may be a good shooter but having to keep sending it back isn't something a gun guy or hunter wants to keep doing. Even if it shoots 10k times without a jam the product leaves you with an uneasy feeling BCA could be a great choice if not for the unreliability that would be easily solved if they choose but they don't.
All fails aside, why no threaded barrel???
So…. What was the issue with the rifle? Have you tried actual match ammo? SK, Lapua, GOOOD Eley, Norma match?
Yes, I tried Wolf Match. "Match" had nothing to do with it, it was a feed issue.
@@BeyondSeclusion The wolf match is actually fairly cheap Eley Target ammo. Wolf Match comes in two flavors, Wolf Match Target which you had and Wolf Extra Match which is repackaged Eley Club. I am sure you know that every rimfire loves its own, my Rugers are generally partial to SK and CCI SV and Norma. But that is as far as accuracy. I was more interested in the feeding issues you were having… did BCA tell you what was wrong or what they did? One thing I suspect is that the barrels are cut with a “Bentz” chamber meant for match ammo, it’s tighter…. And regular ammo will not feed as well into it. I know it is still a new rifle so not a ton of info on it, just picked up the gun they sent me and first impressions, already rust forming on the barrel. lol.

Not a huge fan of those side charging handles on their AR uppers, not a fan of it here. Always comes loose. Oh you want to just loctite it? Well you cannot disassemble it unless you remove it. OG design is far superior.
Purple loctite…. Easy
winchester wildcat is my clone s its half price 10/22 and way easier to clean...hard pass on bca

This looks nice enough and can't be any worse than a pos ruger.
Have 2 10/22's and neither one runs regardless of mags or ammo. Both have been back to the factory twice. I'll never buy another Ruger product again.
Once this issue was fixed, ran good.
