now i understand. guys hear me out. in the 1st outcome, if jamie doesnt solve the wine puzzle in time, the lever lock will not open leading to charlie's inevitable death. in the 2nd outcome, if jamie actually solves the puzzle, the lever lock will open but if mark doesnt pull it or releases it too early, then charlie is dead. in the 3rd outcome , if jamie solves the puzzle and mark keeps holding onto the switch, then charlie will survive
But: had Charlie had to Hide on the ground? Because I guess there is a Bug in our game: no Option for :"hiding" or "breaking the door"... or are just the things importanted that jaime, Mark and kate will do?
Charlie can be killed by any of the others failing their tasks because he won't have enough time to pull up the grate and hide if they mess up, and he doesn't go for it till the room's on fire. My cousin and I were playing, he was Mark, and didn't know he needed to keep the switch pressed. Charlie instantly died with no option to recover.
If jamie didn't finish the riddle. The outcome will be the once that Charlie are forcing the door lock. And if you solve the puzzle but release the handle too early you gonna get the outcome of charlie pulling the rail and switch to the door lock. And if you holdon to the handle charlie will gonna hide to the rail and be save

If you play coop, it depends on both of you. I played as Mark and was holding this lever down while my friend was Charlie and he was hiding under the ground. He had to choose the option to hide twice and I had to hold the level down all this time till the beginning of the cutscene
what hapened if its in the shared story mode and the one playing charlie keep trying to open the door while the one playing mark i keeping holding the switch ? does it continues forever or one of the two ends up dying ?

Now I'm working on my last Trophy to get in the game. Secrets # 17 & 28(in party chapter..without picking Charlie can I still keep him alive in order to do so? ...

the game is in a very broken state. I've seen people hold the lever down but charlie still dies. they released it 3-6 months too early, so that's just how it is. you just have to hold the lever down the moment you get the chance, wait for a single second to try to think it through and charlie dies.

Remeber that in the Charlie's perspective he still shouts outloud even he hides in the rails

I got Charlie to survive on his own. The crew was just watching him. Idk how to get the others to try and help Charlie.

kate would pull mark away then charlie would die
