i feel like charlie being the lone survivor should’ve taken the cigarette showing how unlike the other endings he may have learned something, but where he is alone now he may have gone through hell but still is kinda the same person after
I personally don't know about that. Charlie is a character that was extremely burnt out and stressed and always turned to smoking as a crutch to get through it. In the beginning, he was stressed that his crew kept douting and taunting his decisions (tho, they were justified considering what happened). His first reaction when he was by himself was to look for his smokes (it even became the bait to his first death). His turning down the cigarette could show that he is willing to change(by being more cause, not relying so much on his cigarettes, etc) by putting his best foot forward.

I'm pretty sure these games only had one moment where the bearings/character traits mattered at all and that was at the end of little hope. If you didn't do the opposite of you're characters traits they died, probably the only time where working towards or against your traits actually did anything

Alive, but in permanent pain, since little to nothing can kill them ? Aw ! The story potential in there... Kaylee, Caleb... You're my favorite candidates for such noble task.
