    I have done the zig zag method, where you only use 18 ties, but I think I like this criss cross method even better, It will probably be my next wreath, I have to finish the one I'm working on first. You are a very good teacher, and yes, I also have a problem with my mind going faster than my mouth. Thank You for sharing your Time, and your Talent with all of us. By the way, the wreath is Beautiful.

I think that you just need to push your curls to the front cause sometimes they get pushed to the back of the wreath. Also if you post a picture of the wreath for me in my free craft group on Facebook called “Hard Working Moms Everyday Craft Dreamers” then I can see a little bit better. Just tag “Hard Working Mom” so I know what to look for. I promise to help you to the best of my ability. Thank you, Lori.

    Just started watching you. What is the 123 method?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Monica! That’s just the way I measure my poofs instead of using a ruler or my mat. I just hold the mesh in my hands and count to 3 while I’m sliding it through my hands. I have just been doing it for a long time but if you feel more comfortable measuring then that works just fine. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.

    I can't really see the bow as it blends in to the rest of the wreath. I would have liked to see more blue ribbons for the bow.

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Sylvia! You can add more blue in the bow and I just show my viewers my version of the wreath. It’s all about preference and what you like. I appreciate you watching, Lori.

    unless my math is off , would it not be 24 ties instead of 18?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Judy! You are absolutely right and it is 24 ties. I’m so used to doing 18 ties on all my wreaths lol. Thank you, Lori.

    Is there some rule of thumb that you don't put long tails on your bows

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  Před 4 lety +1

      Hello Brenda! There is no rule with having long tails on bows and it’s just a preference. It also depends on how much ribbon you have and want to use. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.

      Hello Deborah! A lot of places are sold out right now and I get mine wholesale for my wreath kits. I’m hoping more places will have them back in stock and check back with Craft Outlet, Trendy Tree, and The Wreath Shop. You can also find them on Etsy. Thank you, Lori.

      Jackie Blewett is wonderful and she makes beautiful wreaths. I learned it from Brenda but I’m sure many other wreath makers use that method. Thank you for watching, Lori.
