Well its 6yrs later but the bumble bees are still a collectable item for summer decor. Hope the bees aren't too hard to find, will try craft outlet and my local Hobby Lobby. I have the mesh, ribbons and wreath form n I actually have the same or similar Welcome sign, also a sign from deco exchange that has a bee gnome and I saw that you are crafting signs now too! Just need some bees as I'm thinking of making one for my sister's birthday. Again thanks so much for the link to the deco mesh ruffle tool also.

So cute Lori!!! I love the colors together. Its so full. I couldn't use something that full on our front door. It would get smashed. I can only use 5" mesh and I do use the curl method on the front door. That's how I made the baseball wreath. I have to try a wreath with the yellow, black and white together. I really like those colors together. My daughter saw a flip flop wreath online. Guess what she wants me to make her now??? I'm sure you guessed it. Lol. It was the curl method. I told her go and get the flip flops and I would take the colors off of them and get the mesh for it when it goes on sale again. Lol. Good grief, they keep me busy. Lol hope your weekend was good. Ours was full of baseball and of course the memorial. I did a lot of crying and some laughing too I still can't believe she is gone. She was my go to for everything. I wouldn't want to see her suffer anymore though. I'm looking forward to your next video. 😃😃😃

Geeeeez Lori my front door also gets direct sun. Sometimes we can't even touch the door knob. lol I too had a Valentine wreath on it I made from shelf liner. Its red and white. And of course the red is now kind of pink. Lol. So I know exactly what you mean. Have you ever made a shelf liner wreath??? They are kind of fun to make. Probably would hold up outside in the rain in a shady spot. Lol

Thank you, Starla, I am glad you are enjoying the videos. I do sell them. The way to charge for wreaths is to double the cost of the materials and if it is a time-consuming wreath then add 20% for labor. That is why wreaths can be so costly. Have fun crafting
I I watched your tutorial, went out and purchased everything, went to make it and got confused. I’m new at wreath making and like to follow but you used different ribbon and you didn’t say if you put ribbon on each and every bundle and how you switched them up. Please help me.
Hi Rosann! I always use 4 different ribbons on each wreath and I alternate with each bundle. For example 1 and 2 on one bundle and 3 and 4 on the other. On this wreath, I used ribbon in each bundle but you don’t have to and can do every other bundle as well. I hope that helps and please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you, Lori.

Thank yo Tamra You can spray them with sealer but some items just will not hold up under weather. If you go to the craft store or walmart they will have sealer spray you can use on most items.

Hey Lori !..I went on CZcams to find out how to make the curly deco mesh wreaths and saw your video ..it was my favorite !! lol ..LOVE the cute bee wreath !!..I am making one right now for a woman who is a dog groomer ..I used some really cute ribbon ..one has some cute dog prints on it :D My only problem is that the deco mesh is frayed and it's bugging me !lol ..is it supposed to do that ??..is it because it's cheaper made ??
Hello and welcome, Mary Ann. Thank you, so much I am so happy to hear when someone says the tutorial has helped them . Yes, the mesh does play a big roll in fraying due to the quality and even some good quality does it but not as much. Try using the E6000 adhesive spray, sometimes even hairsprays work. I also use the Krylon Clear Coat Glossy but you can't get the ribbons you have to lightly spray with this one. Thank you, Lori.
Okay thank you Lori !!..I actually finished my wreath and loved how it came out ..frays and all !! ha ha ..After it's all filled in you don't really see the fraying so much ;) Also ..I cheated a little lol and used the Bowdabra to hold the bunches together instead of holding them in my hand while trying to roll the mesh !..I have NO patience doing it that way !lol ..and it was so much quicker !! ;) Thank you again for that GREAT video and showing each step ..such a COOL wreath to make !!..I am excited to make more of them !! lol :D
I didn't get the black and white in the metallic just got just the regular black and white will that work okay. And I couldn't find a big bumble bee any where.

Hey, Shelley thank you. Each section has between 4 and 6 bundles. I believe i ended up with 28. As you go around the wreath you will need less in each section as it gets fuller.

Thank you, Shelia, I do have to mail them yes. I use a 24x24x12 box and i have a tool to cut it down to 9. I attach the wreath to the bottom of the box with pipe cleaners so it will not move around. I just poke a hole in the bottom of the box and tie the wire frame down putting the ties through the holes

Yes that will work just fine. I got the big bumble bee from hobby lobby did you check online. I know craftoutlet has some too just a little different

Hello Glenda! I’m sorry for the confusion. It just means if you roll it in the middle with your fingers then the curl is loose but if you roll by putting your fingers at the ends then it’s more tight. I hope that makes sense. Thank you, Lori.
