I liked this reaction :) here are some fun facts: 1. Killer Instinct was in constant development through 2013-2017, releasing each individual character over time. So this compilation shows characters from newest to oldest releases. 2. "Shin Hisako" is a later released, different take of Hisako (also I learned the word "Shin" means "new"). 3. Gargos, Kim Wu, Tusk and Maya are from KI2 (1996), whereas Riptor, Thunder and Cinder only appeared in KI1 (1994). 4. By lore, "Shadow Jago" is the possessed version of Jago, with Omen (the herald of Gargos) as the catalyst. 5. Orchid didn't have her animal dash in KI2. 6. About Thunder: * Thunder is much, much better right now. The only unchanged thing was the mohawk that was seamless in KI1 imo. * In KI1, the announcer calls him "Chief Thunder" * T. Hawk is from Street Fighter (you probably know it tho, but it's funny to think I wasn't alone in that) 🤣

Characters have had their stories altered a bit which is why characters like Eyedol have a new look. His remake skin had his head spit in two to fit with the new lore while his classic skin has his original look with two separate heads. Also the guest characters are owned by Microsoft so that makes sense and Riptor is a girl >w>
As a little note, the Ultra Combo sequence itself begins with the yellow flash. The purple effects are Shadow moves, which I think are like EX moves in other games. They're not part of Ultras, but I think you might be able to cancel Ultras with Shadow Moves to extend them?
