      Everything is good. My compressor is noisier than I would like at low rpms. If the engine drops to 800rpm the compressor is loud. Is yours like that?

      I have a 5.3 LS truck engine with a new DENSO compressor thats mounted low on the passenger side like it fit in the truck. The engine idles at 500 rpm and I can’t even hear the compressor running. My dual exhaust and flowmasters aren’t the quietest either. I replaced every ac component and like you my ac seemed to have good pressures with less than the amount of 134a than I thought I needed.

      We got it on Amazon. It is not a bolt right up conversion like I thought is was for our 91 truck. We had to make 2 brackets and modify the filler panel between the grill and the bumper. Here is where I talk about the grille more. Start at the 6 min mark, czcams.com/video/NCWmi6m7PNA/video.html

    • @ForceBuilt
      @ForceBuilt  Před 3 měsíci

      Everything works as it should. The biggest problem I see is the compressor is noisy at anything below 1k rpm. Really annoying. I would check your orifice. If it is blocked that will cause high pressure to be too high. Thanks for watching.

    Question for you. My 1993 had propane and the original compressor. It went out 2 weeks ago and I replaced everything but the hard lines and the evaporator core in the cab and went to r134a. I'm just not getting cold air. 60º out the vents and its 82º today and 75% humidity here in alabama. my readings on the gauges is 44 low side and 212 high side which is great. I even took the blower out and cleaned the evaporator core. 60º isnt cutting it and all the money I have spent is not making me that happy what could I be missing?

      Yes it was blowing cold with just 2 cans. I only did the 2 cans but I think it calls for a touch more. I bought an extra can but it was doing so good, I never added it. If you want to add a little more, it will not hurt anything. Just watch your gauges and don overcharge the system. There is no chance of overcharge with 2 cans.
