I had a 13 Genesis Coupe 2.0T for 10 years. I bought it new in NC for commuting, and treated it great. the ONLY issue I had with it was a wheel speed sensor, battery and two sets of replacement tires. I sold it last summer with only 76000 miles, and the 50% remaining on the original brakes. The only reason I let it go was I had it for 10 years, have three kids, and I retired from the military and don't commute anymore. Time for a change. HOWEVER, yes, most users have some combo of extended lug spikes, stance, vertical exhaust, chasis mounted spoilers, awkward carbon fiber, and modded head/tail lights.

I would choose Lexus because of the mechanical soundness and quality it has. I am not totally on board with the styling on some models, but normally I don't buy a car just because of looks anyway. I owned a '96 Nissan Patrol GR 2,3TD for many years, and the biggest downside to that car was the noise level and diesel use, but that car never broke down. I got it a new battery, brakes, a water hose and an oil service and it was happy as a clam. Put on some large off road tyres and had a lot of fun with it over many years, until my handicap stopped me from using it. It could pull anything and with low gear, hand throttle and axcle locks it was unstoppable. I even pulled an 11 ton boat up on shore, once.

About the only redeeming quality about that truck was the fact that the turbo diesel in it got 22-20mpg while towing a trailer loaded down with 3 wheelers. Otherwise that thing was an expensive pile of junk.
The paint was so thin that certain parts of the truck were already down to bare metal within a few thousand miles, it was really uncomfortable to drive, it rode terrible & everything on the truck just felt extremely cheap

Lexus is such a mixed bag, because yes, the description for Lexus owners fits for owners of current model-year (up to the passed 5 yrs) because when these things are bought on the lot they tend to be bought by generally older consumers (Only exception is the current lc convertible model cause if you bought that you probably do pop prescribed viagra, but at least no one can touch your sick steez at the country club, those things genuinely fuck.). But then with the older models you have a spread of people who want a period toyota but with MORE (used market ES buyers come to mind), people looking for daily-traffic sleepers, educated JDM nerds buying weird things like LC430s, SC/Soarers, Altezza era ls etc. & maybe a small percentage of boyracers (is LFA worship still a thing with the kids? lol). Overall though I'd say Lexus buyers are a pretty odd bunch because you DO have to do a little research to end up in one (and have to value reliability), and the badge doesn't carry much weight for NPCs (point being earlier this yr when normies realized Lexus is owned by Toyota, which was pretty funny.)

I swear every single one I encounter on the road is either tailgating me or someone else, whipping in and out of traffic with no signals, making last minute right turns with no signal/just one flash or speeding. They're the ones who always drive 15-20 over the speed limit at any given time. They're essentially Nissan Altima or BMW drivers. They even made fun of them in a movie called "The Other Woman" Leslie Mann's character brings up a Volkswagen Jetta in a conversation with Cameron Diaz and she says, "Only young b****es drive Jettas." With all respect to the car ninja, BMW cars are absolute crap and I still giggle to myself when I see one being cabled up on the flatbed to get fixed. The minds of their owners don't work either. The Bavarian Manure Wagon. Great video! RW

There's a big difference between the clueless drivers and the aggressive ones. Once you get away from the clueless ones they're gone. The aggressive ones just keep sticking around, because although they are aggressive they never have any ability to anticipate so they end up stuck behind people turning, only to once again race up, cut people off, and invariably end up right beside you at the next light. And 9 times out of 10...it's a BMW.

I agree with many of those, but as I am in Australia, we have a couple of others that can be put on that list in place of some that we don't have here.
    1. Modified Ford Ranger drivers. In my experience, always in a hurry to get somewhere due to poor time management skills (I'm guessing), and they are some of the biggest road ragers on Australian roads at the moment. They taillgate/brake check most frequently, use their high beams and spotlights if you're not moving quickly enough, even though you may already be doing 15km/h over the speed limit in the overtaking lane.
    2. Early 2000's to late 2010's Toyota Camry drivers. Same reasons as the Corolla drivers. Mostly used by oblivious Uber Eats delivery drivers who don't give a crap about their car's appearance, nor the state of mechanical safety. None seem to actually enjoy driving.

I think most every car has its bad drivers. It's a better question to ask which cars' drivers don't drive like idiots. My vote would be Accords (Personal note... I don't have one). Accords never cut you off, drive too slow, fail to signal etc. It's one of the best selling cars, but I can't even remember the last time I saw one. Usually because they never do anything where I'd notice one.
They're probably all beige, white, or gray. (I can only guess). Some folks probably get a maroon one and they are personally embarrassed by indulging themself with the "edgy" color of their car.

    Great show, lots of fun.
Was in the car business for 35+ years, so I've kept an eye on this sort of thing. So, in no particular order, my addenda:
Mustangs: if you build one out of bits? Awesome! Just wrote a check? Loser.
S10s: actually pretty well thought of in the Northeast where I live
But on a quiet night, you can just hear the rusting....
BMW: really, any late model BMW driver is most likely a lousy driver with self image issues. A shame, really....a great history of engineering replaced by making fashionable jewelry.
Porsche: see BMW comments. Times 2.
Audi: why use one part when 10 will do?..ridiculously complicated, hard to work on....$$$$
ANY Modern Rover product owner. These critters are astonishingly crappy. And expensive. And unreliable.
Got one that sorta works? Sell it. Now. You're welcome.

I also have a 2014 Mustang cabriolet with only 53k miles , also purchased used.. I have replaced the suspension with Eibach springs and Koni shock's . The stance is perfect now, and with Michelin cross tour tires . It handles very nicely.

Lexus is for those who's dearest wish is to drive a car that's less likely to break and are having trouble finding a decent Toyota at a decent price. This list is complete garbage. I don't have any of the cars on the list but I would consider some of them and I doubt it has a friggin' thing to do with my personality or anyone else's. There are so many other variables at work when deciding which vehicle to get. I know y'all need content, so I get it. The only model of vehicle I've noticed lately wherein the drivers tend to be jerks IS, in fact, the high end Range Rover. There are a few around that I encounter sort of regularly and they're always being driven by overtly holier-than though emmeffers who expect other motorists to bow down to them. However, normally I tend to give others the benefit of the doubt. Getting all worked up over the way some folks drive is immature and counterproductive, I think. Just put on some tunes and sit back and let that shit happen because it's going to. Fais juste attention!

I disagree about the ZR2 comments. I had an S-10 ZR2 and it was actually pretty darn good offroad with the stock limited slip rear diff. It wasn't just an "image" package. It had increased suspension travel in the rear (different spring hanger location, longer springs) and the front and rear axles were extended 2" on all corners. It was a pile of garbage though with tiny ball joints that would fail frequently and eventually mine had a frame crack by the lower control arm. I did a solid front axle swap and a rear axle flip and then it was really amazing offroad. I also had the NV3500 5 speed manual which was much better than the auto.

Mercedes laughs its ass off every time it sells an American a G Wagon. In Germany, they're used as cheap, diesel wagons for the cops and military, kind of like a Ford Ranger. The first time I saw one here in California, black of course, hyper optioned with a 500 V-8, I started laughing in front of the owner, who'd spent a fortune on it. Also, as a truck, they have zero crash worthiness, you won't survive a 50 mph crash.
