Ed, you are the bomb! Everyone that has been fortunate enough to acquire a Fantom 0 is not a professional keyboardist like you.
And I for one am so glad someone with your caliber has chosen to take the time to illustrate some of the basics of this incredible instrument!
Yeah, I know Roland pays you well for your expertise. And I’m glad they do. Because it really helps people like me.
You do a great job of explaining the controls and features with simplicity and consideration. I have other Roland keyboards, but this one is fast becoming my favorite. You have enhanced my abilities which is multiplying my joy in playing my Fantom 0!!! I wish I could give you 10,000 likes.
    Thanks Ed!

Thank you Ed for this thorough explanation of creating splits. Very useful when you can see how the scenes are created.

Recently picked up an 08 and your explanations are fantastic, easy to follow. Really helps me (far more than trying to decipher the user guides and all the other 100-page manuals). Thank you.

Hey Ed, thanks for your explanation, but here you put some strings or pad layering a Pianoright?, Well I 've recently acquire a fantom 0 and I've experience serious polyphony issues when layering a piano and pad.
I don't know if there's an option or setting I'm missing, but if not, is a serious problem for a machine like this

Hello Ed, I was wondering if there‘s any way to mix internal sounds (zones) with external zones eg. have zone 1 set to external sound source (iPad) and zone 3-4 internal. My MIDI Out seems to work only if in Single Tone view, meaning I can only mix 1 internal sound with 1 external source or am I missing something. Thanks.

If I may suggest a change on your approach, it seems to me that people that actually buy a high Level keyboard like this almost sure knows very well what LAYER or SPLIT means, so you probable could assume that instead of explaining those basic terms all the time.

Wrong. I had surgery and wanted to learn piano since I was a kid. With all the time stuck at home I decided to learn and this just came on the market so I bought it not knowing a thing on how synths work. Now I do.
