God's Not Dead

The Christian has a living God, who acts in his life, leads him, communes with him, and shapes him to the image of Christ. Everything in the life of the Christian is led by God. Yet if you'd believe many of the Charismatics, you've got to believe their doctrine of Continuationism if you desire a living God. Otherwise, you've got a distant one, and are a mere footstep away from Deism. Such a claim, however, is nonsense. God acts, works miracles, and is present with us, even though the miracle gifts of the 1st century have ceased. To claim you must be Continuationist to have a God who acts is just more prideful false teaching coming from Charismatics. God be with you.
