I'm actually disabled as well (Tourettes, OCD, and constant pain from the neck down and I walk with a cane even though I'm only 31) and where I live people with disabilities get treated like trash. I used to go to a gym where this one guy was making fun of my disabilities and tried to start a fight when I told him to screw off. He started cussing at me, threatening me, telling me to hang myself, and said all he could to provoke a fight. I told him to go ahead, and he backed down and moved to the other side of the gym until I just reported him to the staff and left. The next day I canceled my membership to that gym.
I hate it when people pick on others because they think they can go unchallenged. I've had people start fights with me and pick on me ever since I was a little kid and I have a habit of calling them out on their garbage, for better or worse. I don't get angry or violent, I just tell them to do what they want and usually they back down. I don't like fighting, but I will defend myself and others, so I applaud the guy that called out that one man who was picking on that elderly gentleman. I just don't understand why some people feel the need to try to look tough by tormenting others. No one looks good by being a bully.
You don’t deserve that. The gym is supposed to be where we uplift each other not degrade. This wouldn’t happen in the gym I manage.

All this make me think about 10 years ago when me and my friend almost got jumped by 4 wannabe. What they didn't knew is first of all, it was right outside a mma gym and all the other early 20's young bucks were coming right behind us after a late evening session. Those guys tried to pressure us to give our bags and everything. We told them to fuck off and instantly punches rained on us. I remember we both shelled up backed up to the front door of the gym and knocked on it to tell the guys something was going on outside.
It became a reverse jump of about 12 v 4. One got dropped pretty quick and the boys dragged another one inside the gym to scare him and the others off. It worked because you have no friends in their world, the 3 outside ran like we were gonna kill them.
The guy inside was released uninjured but scared as fuck a couple minutes later after been showed if we were like them, he would had died or never walked ever again at least.
They never came back. They probably were thinking if we were 12 at the gym close to midnight, we were gonna be even more anytime in the day.
Me and my friend who were the only ones of us to have taken any hits were not even hurted whatsoever. Those were the most overcooked spaghettis i've ever eaten.
