    I was training at a gym that had two females that were ranked in BJJ. Repeatedly all the men in the gym said I had to roll with them so that I could be humbled by the power they had. Eventually after being harassed for months, I decided to roll with them. I choked both of them out in seconds, I mean less than 15 seconds for each girl. After that everyone said I was a jerk for going full force on them. Make up your minds, were they tough or was I supposed to pretend they were tough?

    I don't think most women appreciate how difficult of a position this is for a man. Everything in our biology is telling us not to hurt you. We're programmed to do the exact opposite (at least most of us are.) However, we're also socially aware of the repercussions of losing. On top of that, everyone spectating will look at us like we're monsters if we accidently hurt you. This usually results in the man fighting like he's stuck in limbo. I personally believe that the vast majority of us will never fight a woman at our full capacity unless she's armed and/or poses a mortal threat to our family or loved ones. The fact that almost all of these fights still end in the man's favor speaks volumes.

      Going back 15 years, I had a 29 year old girlfriend who was a stripper and a bit bipolar / over confident. She was about 5'8 tall and well built from the dancing she did. Anyhow, she took up Mauy Thai with a personal trainer that ran a small group. I was about 44 at the time. She insisted I come along to a training session at a park to meet them. The personal trainer wanted me to join in, but I was not interested. They were all a lot younger than me.
      The session went along until they got to some focus mitt work. The numbers were uneven and the trainer kept at me to join in. I ended up opposite my girlfriend with a set of focus mitts.
      Didn't I end up in crap over that.
      The crack, crack, crack from me throwing fast and light punches at the proper range upset the others in the group. My distancing was spot on, just touching these mitts lightly at about half an inch before full extension. Later the next week she informed me that I had bruised her hands and 'the boys' were about to step in and say something to me. She knew I did martial arts, but thought I was talking up my past. That day at training she got the surprise of her life.... her pussycat was an old lion.

    It‘s an illusion to think as a woman you can fight a grown man. The best combat/ protection exercise a woman should learn first is how to run away from a threat and how to not get into this conflict situation in the first place. In every video we saw men behaving rational, what we didn’t see were men in pure rage to go all in. It should also be a crime to make women think they are able to fight a man or even a male teen.

    • @chrismayclin6397
      @chrismayclin6397 Před 24 dny

      There are numerous news reports of trained women fighters fighting off and even beating up men in the street. If you don’t believe me, look it up yourself. That being said, men obviously have a natural advantage against women and your average woman should not delude herself, but by your reasoning a smaller guy could never beat a bigger one in a fight either, which we know is also nonsense.

Why do people like negativity so much.. hate and violence.. why don't people like feeling good, happy enjoying life?? why can't we spread love an encouragement? Why can't we smile and laugh..

      @@randomsmile9064 I agree entirely. I'm a huge advocate of self defense, but I hate fighting. I enjoy martial arts for many reasons, but not because it's violent. I see it as a form of self defense, self-discipline, and can actually unite people that share the same passion.
      All that being said, I would rather avoid a fight and I only ever act to defend myself from attack or to defend someone being attacked and clearly victimized. It's sad to see that so many people enjoy solving their problems through violence instead of level-headed discussion.

    The worst thing about all of this. Is that its sets dangerous false expectations for women. Instead of being sensible and running or getting armed. Women will feel equally capable. Then they will get smashed and get a really bad reality check.

  • @robbyrocksoo
    @robbyrocksoo Před 21 dnem +4

    What has changed? Back in the really old days a woman would almost never get in the face of a man screaming, and would most likely never swing on a man she didn't know, unless she was protecting family. Now, you can barely leave the house without witnessing some woman getting pissed, and screaming in a guys face. Women are supposed to be smart, but somehow Disney has convinced them that some men won't utterly destroy a woman in the street before the police can get there to help the woman. There are even video's of women getting knocked unconscious on the streets because they just had to get confrontational with a man.

    It’s just embarrassing watching these karate practitioners. I know there’s some skill in it but any guy Ive meet who is an adult with a a black belt in karate end up being a douche bag. And the women are given this fall sense that they can fight point fighting is way different than actual fighting.
    There are so many great women strikers out there. These women are giving them justice.

  • @marcelobenattoferreira2998

    If she's way more skilled, more fit and is just a spar...yea, she can do good. But if it's a life or death situation, and the guy would not go to jail, she would have no chance.
    The fact that we need to discuss this obvious reality is quite sad.

  • @ezsmith3765
    @ezsmith3765 Před 27 dny +4

    Perfect example. She comes at him (as they’re sparring) and she’s going at what appears to be maybe 80%-90% ?? This guy maybe started off as low as 40% - 50% at least that is UNTIL she might have caught him on the right side of his head and he quickly recognizes her sudden, inexplicable elevated aggression. So with one single shot... a left hook straight to her face and suddenly it’s time for a break. And sadly it wouldn’t surprise me if she attempted to verbally guilt trip him. I only say that because she’s already immediately displayed one example of shady behavior in the gym by going hard on him and being a sneaky snake about it too. Many times if a person does one BS tactic they’ll have others stored up and ready to show the world what a stinkin 🧰 toolbox they can be.

Because one good placed punch by a guy can split you, knock you out, and probably send you flying into the street or worse cement concrete. Too many delusional martial artists. One scoop slam, one twisted knee, one hit on the nose. 🥶👈🏻💡💯

    When my daughters and I took Tae Kwon Do together, the philosophy of the school we attended was "disengage," especially when women were learning self-defense. A woman who gets into a fight with a man is going to suffer, even if the man is smaller than they are, more often than not. A skilled woman may be able to "hold her own" but that should not be her goal, because she can never know if she's doing well because she's doing well or she's doing well because she hasn't pissed the guy off enough to overcome his natural reluctance to hurt her.

    Bro there are 4 factors that decide a fight. Mass, Force, Skill, and the random outlier of Luck. A person needs to have at least 2 of these factors to win in a fight. When you find equally matched people, then the fight is interesting. But when one has 2+ and the other only has 1, then only luck can play a factor in victory.
