This island such a dumb statement. “Weight doesn’t matter.” Maybe when encountering far superior techniques . But if weight doesn’t matter , why are there divisions? You mean a trained fighter can beat an untrained fighter? Brilliant point. Really enlightening.

You didn’t talk about the most important thing in this encounter. Bradley caught him by surprise and the guy even had his hands occupied with a big ass sign. If this have started fair it would have ended earlier by the kid. The kid is truly someone you don’t want to mess around. He could give bradley a great lesson in a street fight. Bradley best move “the hulk grab” with all his strength didn’t do anything here, wao…

I'm an ex highschool wrestler, I would've tried to suplex his big ass off of a slide by cause he's not much heavier than me, but the smart thing to do would just let him set himself up for getting knee tapped or ankle picked. Kid in the video does a textbook single leg into a double finish, super clean, clearly has good technique. Love your stuff boss.

    • @MusMasi

    • @rawtoastgaming-Gin
      @rawtoastgaming-Gin Před 5 měsíci +1

@@MusMasi I respectfully disagree, I'm around 230lbs but I'm only 5'8, he would totally try and collar tie me cause I'm shorter than him, but would quickly realize that we are actually similar in mass. I was what they called a "giant killer" back in the day, I would wrestle up weight classes as a 182lber and finished my career around 220. I've been told I am very large for someone only 5'8 , people mistake me for being taller because of it. But only smart people think twice before messing with someone in the street who's built like a mini fridge and this guy strikes me as the type that would still make an attempt. The biggest compliment I've ever gotten from people were them telling me they'd have to shoot me if they ever got in a confrontation with me and they hope I wasn't close enough to get a hold of them otherwise. I'm a very calm man, and do not like fighting outside of a controlled environment, but by no means does that imply that I wouldn't defend myself in a street fight or even small scuffles like the example in the video.Edit: I only say similar in mass because I am personally used to engaging with a 20+ lbs weight discrepancy that's not in my favor, and those kids at least knew takedown defense. Normally those weight differences would spell trouble if you're of similar skill, but only if they could keep up with the speed and agility of a smaller dude.

Coming from a competitive (coaching national level) rock climbing background the problems with muscle mass is without knowing how to use it just uses more energy.
We would add muscle mass to aid stamina not total strength, staying out of ATP production as much as possible but training would be designed to add to your reflexes too. HIT strips etc.
I swapped lessons with a boxing coach who climbed as well. Boxing circuit fitness is mad and the muscle memory + reflex practice really makes fighters.
People talk shit about "I'd to this or that move" but they wouldn't because a fighter 1) sees them signal a mile off then 2) gets an effective hit off faster.
People think they're tough but a pop to the nose, throat or kidney from someone that can punch will finish a non fighter.
People need to respect each sport more. Heck, the 'best' fighter probably has slower reflexes than a table tennis player lol

Over the past year I went from 130lbs to 146lbs in muscle mass because I simply wanted more muscle. When I went to kickboxing sparring I found I was slower and sluggish but the technique is still there. So in short muscles don't help fighting

Muscle is different than technique. If you don’t know how to use your strength and muscle to develop your technique then you will lose every time. Btw thanks for the tip Steven, I just started wrestling a lot more so ima use these tools 🙏🏽🔥

Lol! You appear to have the exact same feed as me recently Mr. Williams!! 💯☺️
Saw this a day or 2 ago, and it was pretty terrible tbh. That wrestler kid is actually a major dbag with short-man syndrome. He later severely K.O.’s a guy who slams his head on the floor 😬
Wouldn’t be surprised if a lawsuit is on the way for ‘Mr. 260’. He irresponsibly allowed and encouraged a crazy free-for-all at his gym. No safety gear, no control, no medical staff. Shocking really 🤷‍♂️
I doubt his public liability insurance covers gross misconduct/negligence 🙏

I wrestled at 103 and would scrap with the 160+ cats because i would get lower and ankle pick them. Technique and leverage win usually win the battle.

You have to give the bodybuilder credit for going in the cage with respect and humility and going after it. You can tell that there was some technique being applied and probably needed a few months of training to flesh out his fight plan. But good for him on getting in there and giving it a go. Lots of respect.

Old school and hardcore MMA fans and practicitioners will recall 375 lbs peak strength "upsetting the GOAT Heavyweight kickboxer Ernesto Hoost Twice" era prime Bob Sapp defending a double leg shot from 250ish lbs Big Nog from this same position by picking Nog up vertically and piledriving him to the mat. He then proceeded to beat up and ragdoll Nog until gassing out and getting armbarred. Even then, that version of Sapp was a better and more dangerous fighter than Bradley ever has been. Just like prime Big Nog was levels beyond the wrestler here in size, strength and grappling ability.

Wrestlers are so good at changing their angles. I can stuff the first shot, but when he starts adjusting and chaining, I’m going down fast. When Bradley couldn’t lift a guy would good base, he got exposed.
