I got so excited about this one hero and the new book I started playing warmachine Mk4.
Hey look here in my book it says nobody likes 5 wounds foot-heroes. Weird I wasn't even looking for that.
So happy about this! Hope we get new units, but a new battletome and hero is a good start.
I would love a Nighthaunt-like charge bonus that is stackable to encourage melee. Something like, 3-5, deal 1 MW; 6-8 deal d3 mortals and affected unit is-1 to hit; etc.
I love how any other faction gets extra hype and here we are the few KO enthisiasts xD

So we get a rules lawyer hero right?
So that should mean that we will have a tight book in the new edition - meaning embarking/disembarking and other rules issues we have not had properly/fully fixed in the past 2 editions should finally be clearly written and understandable in this new book right??

The daemon prince has heroic actions on his warscroll. And as an ally this wouldnt matter as it interacts with the KO allegiance abilities, similar to how the blue scribes were just ruled to not know the tzeentch spells as an ally even though it says they do on the warscroll. Hyped for this guy though, he looks an excellent addition

So with the new codewright coming , do you think it worth buying the arkanaut admiral now ? I’m starting KO (I only have the start collecting yet)
It’s kind of hard to say right now as we done know enough about the new book, but it’s never really bad to have at least one of each hero. If you’re trying to limit your spending then I would just wait until the new book is out.
For me this is very concerning, I was hyped by the new book, but now I'm a bit sceptical.

We didn't really need a new hero. And this one's rules looks so good, he'll probably be an auto include. I'm not a bit fan of auto includes...
Raming actions could be monstruous action for sky vessels. But we'd need greatly improved melee abilities to want to engage anything in the game.
I don't see when you'll use the 2 command abilities per phase. All out acttack et all out defense in combat phase ? No thank you, I want retreat.
Anything that was shown today looks at least concerning. I know we don't have the full rules, but the few that was shown looks bad
I wasn’t really expecting anything more than a hero to be honest. Though I’d like new units, we have problems with the current ones not really having proper roles so I’d rather they sort those first.
We’ll have to wait and see on ramming actions I think, but yeah we don’t really want to be in melee at the moment so…
@@Aethercast I agree one of the problems of the current book is there are a bunch of unit options that simply just don't get taken. If they become actually good the new list options will atleast in the short term make up for lack a strictly new units.
