I must say I really dont like the change to the heavy weppons of the baloons. This is to little complexity. On the other side, I really like jabing only 3 weppons on Thunderers

It's like 10th 40k I know it is very popular to say the least, but to me it feels flat, bland and boring. I know many that feels the same but they keep on playing, cause of the big pool of players, tournaments, money and time invested and just plain generic coverage. I have moved on to more interesting games, harder to get matches and tournaments but much deeper and more rewarding rules sets. Cheers!

My comment about ranged damage having its range across the board reduced at 1h25m DID NOT age well. Like as in less then 24 hours later.. skaven warlock engineer gets a flat 3 damage ignore "look Out Sir" 24" range sniper rifle. With Jezzails buff. LOLOL

I definitely have questions about prayers. I feel like there is a missing bit about how "ritual points" interact with "chanting rolls". Do you spend the ritual points and add them to the roll? Or do you just build up the meter and passively add that number to chanting rolls? They mentioned PRIESTS are important to kill so I wouldn't be surprised if you don't spend ritual points and they're just passively added to the "chanting roll"

10th edition is flat and leaves a long lasting feeling of emptiness after every game. I have played 40k every edition since Rougetrader. 8th ed was a good step and 9 ed is the best edition so far even though it was terribly bloated.

Enjoyed the overview of my KO list, the secret behind the list is that - it's the models I have painted! I created the Kadgetzan Overlords as a 1500 narrative army a long time ago. It pre-dates Gloomspite Gitz, Contrast paints & Gotrek! I wanted to 'finish' the army recently to 2k and Gotrek was the missing piece, it was then a case of making the units I have Battleline so the army was actually legal. This is the result!

Thx for the stream guys! How about some videos about deployment, when/how to fly high, things to consider when building a list, or perhaps going over other factions in the game and what they generally mean for KO's strategy(could even be a deep dive series)?

This new points update show that the real problem is that some armies, like KO, have too good tactics and some have bad ones. All the top armies aren’t necessarily the deadliest armies, they just do “free tactics”. Points won’t change that. Making skywardens that no one really took won’t stop KO from doing opening salvo as an easy first tactic!

I always thought you had to be dissembarked, does it count if they are inside the boats? also is there a KO specific forum or discord that you know of that I can join, where I play I am the only KO player so I've kind of been learning as I play, but can't discuss or learn from other people. As I’m currently trying Gotrek in all my order armies (finally got him as a Christmas gift from my wife) I’ve dabbled with him in KO. I tried him in a list with an ironclad, gunhauler and 15 thunderers spread across the two ships. But I thought it was a bit to fragile. So listening to this episode made all the fun tinkering gears go round!! Next I’ll be trying Gotrek and riggers (if GW don’t hike the points too much) 😊

Finally started my KO army! So excited!

Also new trying to figure out my first list to play 2k point pitched battles at my LGS. I had a fantasy about Mhornar pirates and the Aelsling with Drekki and prospector's fleet grand strategy but like i said I'm new and people would probably laugh at me. I very much appreciate this video!

I don't think they have much apetite for real balance changes (and they won't wait long enough for the new books to drop/people figure out counters), it'll just be a blanket points increase, and get rid of the 5's. Khemist & Navigator 100 Admiral 140 Thunderers 150 Riggers 130 Wardens 140 Frigates 320 Personally I'm sticking with S2D until KO get their nerf, though I did start building a cheeky second Frigate and 12 Wardens... they sure are tempting. Hope to see you at SAGT Krohn! ...but hopefully not across the table :P

Guys, guys.... I feel very strongly that we DON'T NEED NERDED. What's really going on is other armies need new battletomes - it's as simple as that. Please, please - be more careful in future when suggesting nerfs - I don't trust GW in that they can be reactionary and do things without looking at the bigger long term picture. All we are seeing in my view is a meta that has not adjusted to us yet - AND THEY WILL without us needing to be nerfed. FINALLY our army works like it should have all along and the last thing we need is nerfed after being handicapped for 5+ years. Every new book in this game that has come out recently has crazy stuff in it for every army. It's the way of the new AoS going forward - the other armies just need new books. If we were to be nerfed now before all the armies get new books it's gonna hurt bad long term too boot.
