- In this video, we go over the benefits of the Bosch heat pump system. The Bosch has the unique ability to match with existing gas furnaces and even existing evaporator coils and Air handlers. The Bosch also is unique in that it is a variable speed inverter driven outdoor unit that can pair with a single, or 2 stage fan on the inside. This gives us a great price point, mid tier efficiencies, and a great overall product option!

I have the Lite outside and the air handler and dual fuel coil inside. The system is unreal. For 40 years i had an oversized lennox furnace with a trane old school condenser. Now i have all bosch and it's amazing. I was the charity job on Mikey Pipes Channel. He flew to my house and got a local to install it. Free.
what model bosch is this ?
Great video.Because of space limitation, I'm interested in using a side vent outdoor unit (30K BTU) in a dual fuel (NG) application. Can this be done with the Bosch system? Product suggestions appreciated. Live central CA.
For side discharge Dual fuel I would recommend the American Standard Platinum 19 side discharge Heat pump Paired with an American Standard S9V2 Gas furnace. Hope this helps!
I have bosch furnace - gas and its dual fuel side discharge. It works fine. I have all IDS by bosch. Down to the coil.
Hi Kyle, I installed the heat pump last year and I am having difficulty with the heating. When it’s cold outside the condenser doesn’t start and the heating doesn’t work. Cooling is ok.
Hello, did we install this system for you?
@@marrsheatingandairconditio5891 No, it was installed by another company. I was just asking if it is something that could be resolved? Could this be some setting on the unit? Also, heating cuts off before reaching the desired temperature.
Check your reversing valve on the stat. See what your system energizes at - heat or cool.
Can Bosch work with nest thermostats??? One installer told me yes one told me no
It’s not recommended to use Bosch with smart thermostats. Also, nest is garbage
@@timrob0420 Smart Thermostats are OK, if kept in standard comfort setting mode. It's Learning Smart Thermostats that are not recommended with Bosch since the control is managed by the condenser's built-in computer. And we're in agreement, Nest is garbage.
@@semotechI install, sell, and service Bosch regularly. It’s my preferred system other than Mitsubishi. If you use a smart thermostat you are supposed to take away the smart features. For example, for Honeywell VisionPro, T10, Prestige, etc you are supposed to turn off the adaptive intelligent recovery. Basically you can use smart thermostats but you basically dumb them all the way down. But Bosch has said flat out in their in person training they don’t recommend nest.
I put in a new bosh heatpump and it has cut my heating and cooling bill in half
I would love to chat with you, what climate are you in? We are in the Northeast / DC area
We recently purchase the 3 ton 20 seer Bosch and live in NJ . The cooling bills are down 35- 40% but the biggest different is how convertible my house has become and how quit the system is. that alone was worth the extra money we spend. It would be great if my heating bill get cut down in 1/2 too.
I live in Southern Indiana hot and humid
@@janmatusiak1380 how has the heating experience been so far?
@@supermanreturns23 I got one too. im in NE area. You can trace my name to my socials if you watn to chat.
These are made in CHINA correct?
oh, common, stop with this chinahate crap. 90% of the stuff in your house is china made. don't be ridiculous
Depends on the model - the IDS 20 is China but the 18 is Europe.
