i want to thank you guys for helping me identify a Navy button i dug a few years ago near the shore of Lake Massabesic in Manchester, NH..The button you guys found was very similiar to the one I found.mine has the eagle with a horizontal anchor over 3 cannonballs.the wooden stock is vertically up and down just to the left of the eagles left foot, i also counted around12 or 13 stars too. My button is a bit smaller than a dime.I had no idea it was a civil war era button. Thanks again for showing yours or else i would have never known what i really had
Our pleasure Stephen. Nice save! Best of luck out there

Thanks Lee! Don’t worry we all get picked on equally
I just gotta say something here. I make metal detecting videos too. Compared to yours, they suck! lol. I spend a ton of time editing and rearranging clips, inserting music etc. Most people have no idea how much work goes into getting a quality video ready to post. Yours are top-notch. Thanks for taking the time to entertain!
Thank you for the kind words and support. Editing video takes so much time. It only gets easier when you find a formula that works. Best of luck!
Nice coins guys. Love the Barbie dime Kurt. One of my hunting buddies just found a 1907 Barber dime up here in Canada. Very hard to find here...I'm sooooo jealous...lol.
Thanks brother! Congrats to him. I’ve seen some great US coins come out of Canada. I’m sure there’s more. HH
The Boys did very well today. Some real nice coins for sure. Bobbie you will complete your bucket list this season. Powder flask is beautiful. See you again soon.
Thanks Jay! All the best
Great episode guys..had me chuckling..Thanks for sharing..!!
Thanks Steve!
The coin finds were great, and having come from a large family myself, I always enjoy you guys giving each other guff and having a good time, but that eagle powder flask was the bomb. I think if I had found such a thing I would have fainted from excitement. It puts to mind the day my mother in-law came out of her back bedroom holding a peanut shaped box. She handed it to me and said I could have it. I took the lid off, pulled back the tissue paper, and there in perfect condition, (in their original box), was a pair of epaulet's from the Civil War. They had belonged to her grt. grandpa, Dr. John Thomas Scearce, who was a surgeon in the 11th Indian Vol. Inf. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I had to sit down I was shaking so much. Since that day I have become the owner of many other old things of hers, but I shall never forget the moment when I pulled back that tissue and saw those epaulets in all their gleaming beauty for the very first time. It may not have been a hole in the ground that they came from, but it still made me weak in the knee's.
Thank you for the support and sharing such a great story! I enjoyed that. All the best
Another great video buddy. Big congrats on the powder flask. Keep up the great work. Keep saving history one beep at a time
