I was heavy into coin hunting in the 80s. Found a lot of silver coins, most memorable were, 2 Washington, 1 slq and a Barber stacked on top of each other, 3 dimes 1840, 41 O 42 O and a 41 half dime that was in uncirculated condition in the same hole and 36 silver coins in 4 hour's in a little park in the worst part of town I just stumbled on. I miss doing that but can't afford a detector these days. Love watching you guys and wish I was there with you. You have a lot older history. Never found a large penny here. The 1840s coins came from a civil war campground. Have a bag full of mini balls and some buttons. No gold coin though.

This is what I like to see! This is what keeps me going and this is what keeps me from getting discouraged. I'm always thinking I know I can find that walker or that SLQ or that spanish silver because I witnessed some one else dig one. They are there all I have to do is dig them up. Very, Very Cool. My Dad-in-Law brought a Spencer Rifle home from Japan after Occupation. It has Japanese script engraved into the receiver side that I am told reads, "Import 1880". He also took a bullet on Iwo.

loving this vid Kurt! You're the man bro! I Dug a 43 walking half too last year at a place called Battle Creek Park in St. Paul. It came with friends: 5 merc dimes and a rosey 46. Walkers are one of the Most beautiful coins ever. Throw out some advice, Always re-check your plugs!
