- Metal Detecting THE FIELD OF DREAMS!! Early Colonial landing site and first colony in the area. We've hunted this site in the water and now our friend Mark received permission for the land. It didn't disappoint! Brad, Bob, Bill, Nina, Mark, Steve, Ron, and Kurt found Gold, Old Silver Coins, Pirate Relics, and Stunning Coppers out of the sand soil. Amazing day saving history with great friends!

The ore is from Denmark, a danish coin, not Dutch, as that would be from Holland/The Netherlands . And their coins were cents and guilders. What a great episode and some magnificent finds. Really great seeing Billy looking so bright and happy. The weight loss has really changed his demeanour.
Those coins came out in such awesome condition that six people were too jealous to like this video. What a great hunt!

The gold ring is a "Past Masters Ring". With the ring dated, you can check with the local lodge and find out who was Master of the lodge in 1964 and put a name to it.
Funny mentioning Oak Island. My hubby and I have said several times if Gary had the Hoover boys help y’all could have the whole island done in a couple of days. Seriously, great hunt. Love you guys!!

I have been watching old Hoover Boys video's. Clear back to before Brad got married so far. It is heartwarming to see Bill giving Brad a run for his money on hotness. And Bob's flintlock piece was astounding. I see more hunts coming at that place. Awesome coin condition!

Mike Hancock used my exact comment. Many of the Masonic Lodges have web sites that list past Masters. Masonic rings are many times cherished by the family and I think it would be worth the effort to try and find the owner or his family.. I would be VERY sad if I lost my Masonic ring.
