My 81 year old mother just loves watching your channel on her television. I arrived to help take care of her this week and my mom is suffering from beginning dementia. I introduced her to your channel just today. My mom now takes notes while you describe items you find. She is able to interact with you speaking out loud and she'll turn to me and ask questions. She remembers her father collecting and digging bottles in Stockton, CA in the 1950's. We appreciate how you always label every find you dig up along with the history. She gets a kick how you say, "Wow"! She laughs anytime you say it. Thank you for all you do!! ❤ It's truly a new activity for us to do together as well..

80 years ago, my folks bought an old farmhouse in a small town near Portland, OR. Dad filled in an old cistern and a well and an old outhouse. He used bricks and rocks and garbage etc. We lived in that house for 20 years and then moved to a newer home and sold the land. I imagine now what was in those old holes before he did the rest of the filling. Actually, there was one missed that my horse stepped in and both back legs went in. Luckily, she was able to pull herself out without injury. When I see all the treasures you pull out I think back and know there must have been old bottles and such. There is an apartment now standing where our old farm house used to be.

I love your bottle expertise, very impressive! I think I’ve been to Askjem, Norway. It’s in the area southwest of Oslo, if I remember right.

Never seen you dig a cistern before. I have a filled in cistern under my kitchen. It would be interesting to dig it. Locally the owners of Isabel Blooms former home dug the cistern and found treasures. Original sculptures she made. This was a very enjoyable dig to watch. The OH pit as well. Thx for sharing.

I’m addicted to this channel. I’ve dug up lots of bottles. I do worry about old germs in those pits.
