- Tasty POV videos are fun so I'm trying a new format to mix in some commentary on occasion. Maybe it's new gear, maybe it's a new car, maybe it's something to inspire. Who knows, but I like it.
In other news I've also been tweaking alot of lighting and video settings on the never ending quest to publish better stuff.

Excellent video. I enjoy the voice over style while watching someone drive. I'm a former racer looking at iRacing as a way to scratch that itch so I understand where you are coming from.

weird off topic but i noticed your very similar to myself in many ways from your other videos have you tried cbd oil or Theanine?
@darrylcote9759 Not weird at all, man. I don't mind talking about it. CBD has never been strong enough. I haven't tried Theanine, but I may read up on it. The main issue is finding something that works for OCD and anxiety without being medicated so much I can't think, let alone function how I want to. Mixing medications for both is no fun.
ya man i get it im a heavy equipment operator and take it and it calms anxiety alot for me and dosen't affect my daily routine
Glad you get something from it. Stress management has been the biggest help on my end, although I'm still pretty limited after things amplified a few years ago.

@@sense-of-speed Just one comment mate. But I noticed that your steering input in your racelogic screen is not correct. When steering left, the steering wheel in the racelogic goes opposit way.
@@SimracingJerry lol. I just noticed it yesterday! It only does it with IRacing. I have to fix it!
Love the rig and how tightly every thing seems to be aligned, You have me inspired to build a custom dash of my own. I know you did alot of your rig with MDF and alcantara, I'm attempting a project with vinyl wrap and 3d prints. Also building a couple button boxes integrated with an Arduino and have a vocore 6.8 inch screen I want to integrate into it, Still working out how to align the wheel base, monitors and dash in relation to one another and how to configure my view in iracing.

I was almost done with my rig, until I found your video about triples and the bezel free kit which helped me so much. Your game looks so good, I wonder what your ingame camera/fov settings are. And you mentioned nvidea game filter, do you use that as well?
Thank you. I'm glad it helped. Fov was 169 in that video. The camera was set to fit the rig and feel right. I did not use the filter. Only a little adjustment during editing.

Found you recently just because your passion is the same as mine, love your style, really nice channel and you're excellent at communicating back to the viewer. Gopro settings are excellent BTW, what ISO, shutter speeds and modes are yiuvusinh? I've been doing POV content for about 7 or 8 years now but the gopro quality and lighting setup I'm still not happy with after all those years. I've the latest Gopro but it just doesn't give results anywhere near as good as this, so really just trying to get advice from a fellow passionate and OCD racer. Keep up the awesome content
Thank you very much. I'm glad you found me. I shoot at 400 with shutter on auto using the 11 mini.
The key is lighting. I have a softbox above the rig with 3 bulbs set very bright for filming. I'll have a video on it once I firm up my settings.
@@sense-of-speed thank you. I do 200-400 with a 120 shutter speed. I do have an elfago key light above and 2 philips hue on above to the left and right for the lighting immersion, I still can't get it right. I think the softbox is key to diffuse the right amount of light.
The softbox made a big difference for sure. I had play bars before and didn't care for the coverage. The box creates a much larger lit area and eliminates harsh shadows. I use 3 75 watt hue bulbs in it, so I can still use sync.

I almost quit sim racing bc all sims looks like another game until i found iracing.
I haven't driven anything else since I bought it. Lol
