Let’s talk about the top-selling multivitamin in the world. They use mostly elemental minerals in this multivitamin, which don’t absorb well in the body, are very inexpensive, and are not sourced from plants.
Synthetic vitamins are also not the same form as the vitamin or mineral that comes from nature, and they won’t absorb well in the body.
What’s really in the top-selling multivitamin in the world:
    • Calcium carbonate (not very bioavailable)
    • Magnesium oxide (not a good form for absorption)
    • Ascorbic acid (synthetic)
    • Dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate (synthetic)
    • Cyanocobalamin (synthetic)
    • Thiamine mononitrate (synthetic)
    • Zinc oxide (most insoluble form)
Other ingredients in the top-selling multivitamin in the world:
    • Corn starch
    • Modified corn starch
    • Maltodextrin
    • BHT (a preservative)
    • Polyethylene glycol
    • Titanium oxide (whitener-used in varnish, paint, and plastic, and is considered a possible carcinogen by the IARC and not safe in food sources by the EFSA)
    • Red 2 lake/ Red 40 / Yellow 6 lake
In my opinion, this multivitamin product is not even a true multivitamin. It’s some artificial thing that resembles a multivitamin.
My products contain vitamins and minerals that come from actual food sources like broccoli, tomatoes, and shiitake mushrooms. Synthetic is very different than a vitamin from a food source. Vitamins from nature come in complexes and have no chemical residues.
When you buy a vitamin, read the label, including the ingredients. If you can’t pronounce the words on the ingredient list, then it’s probably synthetic.

Male 68 yrs old. I was suffering horribly with callouses on the bottom of my feet. Went to a podiatrist and they shaved them off with a scalpel. Worked great but 3 wees later the callouses were back. Was I going to have to go back to the podiatrist every month. Then I watched the Dr. Berg video on the liver foot connection. In that video Dr. Berg said the callouses on the bottom of the feet are a vitamin B3 deficiency. I bought some 1000 mg vitamin B3 capsules. A miracle! Within 3 days the callouses started to disappear and within 3 weeks they were gone! Thank you Dr. Berg

    Dr. Berg,
I have been listening to you for many years. I have Hashimoto’s and have been overweight for 9 years. Mostly because I didn’t put my health first, busy mom 3 kids, work full time, Hashimoto’s making me feel so dragged down after 2 pm.
Anyway, the last year I have bucked down, not full keto yet, intermittent fasting after lunch (12:30), breakfast at 7:30 am.
I do hiit exercise and hand weights (since the covid lockdown). I have lost 40 pounds in about a 14 months. I am on a slower losing weight plan since I am not full keto. Still going strong but want to go to the gym to add muscle, since they are a bit atrophied. I am 56 years old.
Thank you for all of your solid advice, I have purchased the juicing powder with stevia and I love it! Thank you for leading me sown a healthier path!
    Liz

Why is that many doctors still don’t include them in their recommendations. When I was working in the oil industry, we used magnesium oxide for water reuse. The oxide turns into hydroxide after flowing through a hot lime softener at 100 degrees Celsius. It takes roughly 8 hours to become Mag hydroxide to remove silica from the water. I’d imagine it’s as inefficient in the body as well.

@@omegaprimus923 the magnesium oxide is used as a water treatment chemical for silica removal. Silica can cause deposits in boiler tubes that can both reduce flow, and overheat causing a rupture. Anyways, Upon contact with water and agitation, like 8 hours or so, and high temperature, the magox turns into magnesium hydroxide. Silica sticks to the surface of the maghydroxide and is known as adsorption. Among other water treatment chemicals added, a sludge with harmful scale causing compounds are precipitated out and removed from the hot line softener through the bottom blow down line. Clarified water flows upwards and out of the softener. Scale are harmful deposits that reduce heat transfer in boilers and can form on the inside of pipes as well. The most common scale causing compounds are salts of magnesium and calcium. Hopefully that answers the question for you.

Just for the record, if the molecular weight (size) of a mineral is small enough, then regardless of where it originated, the cells in our body can absorb it. There are mineral supplements containing pure water and elemental minerals that are designed for our cells. Simply ask the manufacturer for the molecular weight of the minerals in their product. But the data needs to be provided by a recognised food laboratory.

I've been taking supplemets for about 10 years from Youngevity, and following diet advice also. I'm 41 years old, not on any medication. I had a number of health challenges I was dealing with. Im in perfect health now. I also love the education from Dr. Berg. The supplements Dr. Berg recommends, like Youngeity come from Whole Foods, not synthetic. I see many comments incorrectly say, so just eat healthy organic. While important to eat healthy, you will not get everything you need from food alone, supplements are essential. Supplements I take come from fruits and vegetables grown in soil with all the minerals. Foods from the store most likely were not grown in soil with all the minerals. Supplements can give you a lot of nutrients vert condensed. For example my fav supplement, Beyond Osteo fx, to get the amount of calcium and magnesium in it, you would have to eat pounds of vegetables, almost can't be done everyday.

I looked at the label on a few mutivitamin brands several months ago and the only form of magnesium in all of them was magnesium oxide. The only calcium form mentioned in the list of ingredients was calcium carbonate.

You actually don't need supplements maybe just a few like omega 3 D3, K2, Boron, iodine from sea kelp and probiotics
most of vitamins and minerals you can get it from high quality diet like eggs, red meat, beef liver, whole raw milk, nuts and high quality vegetables, fruits and leafy greens like spinach, kale, broccoli, tomato, cabbage, strawberry, blueberries etc.
      You don't need anything else

My blood pressure was running high for about a year. I've never had issues with BP and I've been an athlete even well into my 40s. Currently 46. At the same time I was also experiencing "dry eye". Since I'm Vegan I typically get a b12 shot 6 times a year. I hadn't had one in over 2 years, so I got one and literally the next day my BP stabilized to perfect readings. Also, my dry eye stuff began to go away over 2 weeks. I also began taking B complex at the same time. I also was experiencing tingles in extremities. It's been 3 weeks now and that is all about cleared up too. However generally Now Foods has decent stuff, Vital Nutrients, Solgar, Solara, life extensions...there's more but I can't remember right off the top of my head. That should give you a start though. However again you will have to look at the ingredients and know which forms our body absorbs easily.
