I seriously loved and agree with Harley in this comic. WAY better than the way she was presented in Heroes in Crisis

Being ruined by Bendis. But, Batman believes that he must protect his city. He hardly ever calls Superman in, even with stories like No Man’s Land, where Gotham was literally falling apart.
Partly story, partly fear that joker would use a similar idea like injustice... Jokers not an idiot, hes just insane, and with access to all of bats gear (including all he kryptonite), he had access to his "kill the justice league" plans as well.
@@Ryoland Batman plans only work against the justice league... Cause hes batman... I mean it seriously, just like jokers plans only work on batman cause he is batman: Emotional attacks, its about knowing your enemy and using it against them, Batman beats the league in every iteration because they trust him and he doesnt trust them.
Injustice is the perfect example, in a world where superman doesnt trust batman, not even hes kryptonite is enough to swiftly put him down.
The Joker doesnt know... Or is clearly not prepared for a Superman moment here... He clearly knew batman would make it personal... 1v1 with the family at the back, then he revives zombie alfred and stuff... Would zombie alfred stop, Azrael? Deadshot? Deastroke? Lex Luthor? Wonder Woman? Martian Manhunter? I dont think so... They may be friend of alfred but it wasnt their "dad" its an emotional attack that only works on the bat family (I even mentioned villains to ilustrate the point that a villain can actually take on the joker much more easily than batman himself... Hell I am pretty sure Bane could end the joker if he put hes mind to it). If superman took a quick look with the x ray vision he could locate the joker and break its neck cause "these amount of killing is crossing the line, he is just like doomsday a bringer of death, irredeemable and will never stop killing and maiming if he isnt forced to stop" bam hes done for, wonder woman could also pull it of... Faster than Joker could pull something out of the suit. Hell martian manhunter could probably leave him mind Fked so he would be in a coma for life, like he did with despero without even enetering the building.
All in all... The joker aint that dangerous, but that wouldnt make an epic batman story just a regular kinda lame Justice league story.
Not even the Batman who laughs was that dangerous on hes universe... He simply got the jump on everyone with emotional weaknesses, power wise even with gadgets Zod would destroy him fairly easily.
The Batsuit Joker has on is the one Alfred made for Bruce.

I've said this once, I'll say it again. Batman needs to kill Joker by the end of this war. No cage, cell, or row of bars isn't going to stop Joker, but a disembodied head is.

But what impact has Jokers death, since we all know he's coming back eventually? I can see it before my eyes, some cult or a totally mad Harley resurrects him, and we find out Joker's just a vessel for the ultimate lunatic god of madness (no, not Randy Savage) who is at eternal war with Barbatos, hence the life long feud between Batman and Joker. Orrrr, Batman beats Joker (or what we think is the Joker) for good, somehow makes Alfred alive but Joker had a plan b and transferred his consciousness into Alfred who slowly becomes the new Joker and it all begins again. Something ridiculous like that

Joker's bat suit reminds me of Cesar Romero's utility belt.
He did not make the batsuit, it’s the batsuit that he took from the bat bunker that we see in batman 95 and 96
Alfreds speech to Bruce reminds me of a Jewish prayer I know: “give me the courage to change what I can, the serenity to accept what I can’t, and the wisdom to know the difference” Thomas Wayne was Jewish I believe so maybe this is intentional.
It'd be nice if it was intentional, but the serenity prayer is used in a lot of things (like addiction programs, for example) so it's possible the writers could've unintentionally referenced the prayer from knowing it in other contexts
So this was the source for that line in the flashpoint movie

I think that particular prayer (the "Serenity Prayer") actually comes from an American Christian theologian named Reinhold Niebuhr in the 1930s/40s, and I believe he was of German descent.

WOW ! Tha's really nice. At first I was afraid that 'Joker War' is going to be this grandiose story with a bunch a fights and.. really won't have much of a deep meaning to it.
But I was wrong;
It managed to be grandiose while keeping itself grounded (which, to me is one of the most important aspects of any batman arc).
It's layered pretty nice and *does have* deep meaning to it.
Not sure about how they manage The Joker though.. Joker IS a nihilist (between other things) but they show him to think some things *do* have meaning. I JUST HOPE they explain or dig into this instead of just LEAVING IT THERE !
Overall, some things to fix but I am pleased 😊
Maybe this a dumb theory, but maybe Clown Hunter will become Red Hoods "robin", idk I think it would be interesting

I actually reallly like the 3 jokers storyline, but the fact that this is running alongside it is too much yeah I agree. Not to mention the Batman who laughs as well
I don’t understand why people say this. I’ve been reading comics since 2011, and I’ve read 3 major arcs over 9 years involving The Joker. Death of the Family, Endgame, and Joker War. Minor things aside like Batman Who Laughs and the War of Jokes and Riddles. But, people act like he’s in every single issue. How often should The Joker be used? Once a decade? And, better yet, if the story is good, who cares?

There Joker purposedly intoxicated Batman and forcing him away, and then Joker parodies Batman using some cheap looking costume and goes around town poisoning random person with toxic gas (he even have the balls to targets children ffs).

@@Ldarkkratos lol not really, the kids in that episode are drawing the side of the street with calk (y'know like kids stuffs), then Joker closes in on them saying "hey kids, didn't mommy never tells you about not to writes on public property" (or something along that). Basically it's hilarious and hysterical at the same time, especially Joker's suit up looks like a cheap parody everytime it happens

This is the Harley Quinn we should have always had. Once breaking free of The Joker's manipulation this Harley is at her best. I completely agree with her. The only way to stop Mr. J is to kill him...
Why would Batman just not let Harley kill the joker like it seems his whole rule is really destroying the whole city and all of his friends
1. Comic book, no main character dead forever. They have to come up with something to bring them back or fans (mostly self proclaimed morons) would be mad.
2. We all know what happens if Joker dies, the Joker toxin.
"Yeah, why don't just let Jason shoot him? Or do anything that would kill him without getting near him?"
You all talk as if it isn't obvious, like no one could have come up with that simple solution.
3. His code is the one killing the city? So I'm going to stab a guy few times in the stomach, give him a phone and if he die, I wasn't murdering because he didn't get an ambulance in time. Sound plausible, yes?
His code is one of the thing making him Batman. Killing keep getting easier and easier each time, until you don't care about it anymore, and I'm not talking about "not minding killing", I'm talking about getting to the point where you'll get decapitated for thievery.
4. This is more of a rambling than an advice so feel free to ignore this if you think you're "too cool for rules".

This feels and reads like no mans land. Just like the green arrow TV, how often are they going to do the Gotham chaos story. They have to rebuild this burning city 1 a year. IMHO!

Arris, you're kinda making it sound like Joker actually MADE himself a batsuit which he didn't. You probably didn't mean to make it sound like that, which is fine. That batsuit is the same batsuit that Batman and Punchline came across in the labs of Wayne Enterprises while they were fighting. Joker just defaced it and made it his. And you can see how that suit was clearly not made for Joker because of how big the gauntlets are on his arms and in some parts of the costume it looks kinda baggy because of his very slim build. Just another ploy to screw with batman by reviving and jokerizing Alfred's dead body and wearing a jokerized batsuit
