Red X has always been an interesting character to me and its a shame there isnt more to know about his storyline.

I remember Robin just took down his whole team when doing that character
in the teams defense, Robin had a super suit and was like batman with prep time times 100 since he knew his team's quirks and had been working with them on multiple missions beforehand.
I don't know why, but that episode was never on here in Australia. I was never able to watch it for some reason.

It’s so tiring. Especially considering how frequent and often these stupid crossover events have gotten since the 2000s.

I guess, but Jason Todd is years younger than Dick Grayson. And in Teen Titans Robin and Red X are about three same age, if not Red X is slightly older, so Jason Todd is pretty unlikely

Red X has always been a fun mystery character. I think if any new red X shows up they should always have it under a new mystery character to keep the mystery theme going.

I’m betting Red X was Clown Hunter. Think about it, he has somewhat of a connection with Batman, so it makes sense how Dick Grayson knew him and why he might consider him for the Teen Titans Academy.
Plus Clown hunters costume already had an X on his mask, so that might’ve been hinting towards his later identity as Red X.

I remember the Red X deception, it was part of a misdirection, which blurred the perception of it's inception. It didn't receive proper reception, because of the misconception. Nightwing's introspection almost led to a disconnection, but eventually brought about an insurrection. Upon further inspection, it may have been a deflection from deeper reflection and a reliance on his predilection.

This story was so confusing to read. Am I stupid or did everyone have a little trouble
Everyone had a little trouble because everything in the comic is gonna be explained later in the teen Titans academy series. This one is just supposed to get everyone invested in it more and future state as a whole
did not understand anything.
Although this hopelessly convoluted and disjointed mess could manipulate a fan into buying multiple comics. It is equally valid to argue that this tease will push away other fans. For example myself.
I know the people at DC and Cartoon Network never intended this - but i would LOVE if Red X was Damian Wayne. Maybe an alternate version like Power Girl is to Supergirl
It has to be Damien Wayne or Tim Drake just because the connection to Night Wing, but he was locked up & trying to right his wrongs. . .

I laughed far harder and far louder than I damn well know I should have at the Dickstroke jab. It was one of those glorious laughs that changes your entire outlook on the day. I laughed so hard, it gave me a raging migraine after.

Jeff Kinney and DC comics have confirmed that the diary of a wimpy kid books took place in this continuity and that red x is actually greg heffley after the tragic death of manny , he died by eating too many pennies before the age of 49 , Greg now roams Gotham hoping to kill and make people suffer , he was secretly responsible for the death of Bruce Wayne’s parent after tracking Bruce down because of a Xbox live feud , he then shot his parents as a return offense

I was just looking at old Red X clips from the Teen Titans show wondering who he was and why haven't we seen him again in comics or other mediums, this just made my day.
When Red X unmasked himself to be Robin in the CN cartoon I was shook I love Red X

In Teen Titans I always assumed he was Jason Todd bc Beast Boy pulls up a chart of possible candidates with Jasons next to a classic looking Robin. HOWEVER, as I grew older I realized Red X is taller than Dick Graysons Robin which in this cartoon show means he’s older than Robin. Even the creators of the episode said Red X is meant to be a Junior bully to the Team of sophomores. I still think he was meant to be Jason Todd as the Red Hood persona had not been invented yet
It actually makes sense why the new Titans have such weird names because if you think about it they started a Titans academy meaning HUNDREDS of different Titans enrolled into this place and they have to think of new names for each and every one and at one point it just gets annoying to come up with new names for everyone that enrolls

Tim Drake doesn't need some gimmicked change of character, he's perfect in the roles he plays as. Same as Dick at this point. It's the other Robins who need niche roles and secret identities to make themselves interesting and useful in the series.

@Dvaryus Very unlikely. 1. Damian is already confirmed by Joshua Williamson to not be in future state and 2. Williamson requested to use Red X in his robin series but he was already being used for other storylines.

This was released during the COVID lockdown and all the comic book stores were closed. I still managed to get a copy and a decent amount of futerstate. I love the night wing number 2 cover. If they didn't use it for that,it would've been used as one of the 100th.
