#Joker #CommissionerGordon - Zábava
Rule number one of any comedian.
Never repeat a joke
Wrong
Rule number one of any comedian.
Never repeat a joke
Wait, your own or somebody else's? Cuz only one of those is correct.
If you've ever seen a comedian on tour he does the same jokes, every city he goes to.
They literally repeat the same jokes nightly. Just look at Liberal MSM.
I admit. I love when artists do renditions of old comic panels
The art in this series is pretty freaking great
It really is
Hell yeah!!!
As someone who admits I gravitate more towards DC but I don't pick favorites over Marvel or DC it always amuses me at how much Marvel seems to not care about the artwork whereas DC constantly pushes their artists and gives them time to shine.
by Guillem March (Talon, Batman, Catwoman) by the way
I like what they did with giving joker a new eye considering how he lost one in joker war
I watched you like 5 years ago and you’re the whole reason I started reading comic books. I don’t know why I stopped watching you but it’s good to see that the channel is still alive
Joker was my favorite villain for a while, but nowadays I find myself feeling kinda frustrated cause deadass all of the characters who have had the chance to kill Joker never do.
A number of characters have had numerous chances to dispose of him, but they never do.
It’s always some BS about those characters not wanting to dive into the darkness or something, but honestly that’s REALLY, REALLY over-played.
Joker is used so much nowadays in so many different storylines that I feel like it’d behoove DC comics to kill him off for a couple of YEARS, then bring him back.
Plot armor has kept Joker alive so many times that Joker doesn’t feel like a good villain anymore, purely due to the writers making him damn near invincible.
Dude i dont even want to renember when batman and batgirl did the no respect on the rooftops...
That was from the movie not the comic (thank the lord. That was just…🤮)
Shhh... We don't talk about that.
Damn every one is hunting the Joker.
I imagine that’s something you get used to pretty quick if you’re the joker
@@stefanfilipovits21 not that he cares, he probably finds it hilarious.
Someone who knows how to write joker well can make some of the best stories in comics. I'm excited to see where this goes
Agreed!
After all the death and trauma the Joker has given Jim Gordon, I can't accept that he wouldn't kill Joker if he had the chance. Paralyzing his daughter is enough but think about all the other dead people Gordan has personally processed from Joker. Gordan pulls that trigger even if dies.
This is why The Joker is my all time favorite Batman and DC villain. Just terrifying and iconic and hilarious in the dark kind of way. Thanks to actors like Mark Hamill, Kevin Michael Richardson, John DiMaggio, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, and Joaquin Phoenix voicing him and portraying him in live action. Especially the evil laughter. I'll always read Joker bubbles with Mark Hamill's voice in my head first and foremost. The Joker is even more or as well known as The Devil himself.
I dunno about this.
To me the most important moment in the killing joke is when Jim barks at Batman to bring the joker in ‘by the book’
If Jim kills joker, that’s a serious reversal of character. Granted the series is ongoing so that may never happen. I. Suppose that’s why you wait until the story concludes
I don’t think he’ll really kill the joker. I think he’ll investigate, find out joker didn’t bomb Arkham, and refuse to kill him. He might bring him in, but I don’t see Gordon murdering him.
You gotta realize that in this series he's basically debating with himself as to if by the book is the right way or not thats the whole rant he went on about justice not being real, he may be changing as people do. Personally I wouldn't mind if he did kill joker but also wouldn't mind if he didn't i would like to see him go mad though especially after the 3 jokers story
Can you do history of the Elementals, Cyclone and Sandman along with Doc Octopus, Electro, Rhino, Kraven the hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the human fly along with Morbius?
When he said you can’t run around in a bat suit and change something I almost believed him a bit then I remembered who’s in the bat suit
He's kind of right though, but it's only because batman doesn't kill. He'd be a much better crime fighter if he did. Like the punisher on steroids. All the villains would retire out of fear.
@@clayton7993 Not all the villians.
@@clayton7993 no he wouldn’t because he wouldn’t stop and he would lose himself and not to mention the people he trained one day someone will complete the mission
@@justinmcdonald9905 He wouldnt lose himself, and yes I know he said it in under the red hood, but Bruce factually wouldnt lose control as seen in injustice where in a 'what if' scenario, Bruce kills joker and supes just tells him that he doesnt need to lose control and he doesnt. Plus bruce is a master of biology, chemistry, iq and in peak human condition, so mentally his will is too strong for him to lose control.
@@adampatel8763 injustice is not the same Batman but I get what your trying to say and also the injustice universe is far behind this comic
This comic book is amazing can't wait for the next issue.
Imagine, when Jim knocks the door, Batman opening it. Jim finding Batman and Joker were having a toast to themselves. Wouldn't that be a more like a Killing Joke.?
joker is a menace
I see the title and then I wonder, “wait, they crippled Barbara again?”
I like how his flashbacks to the events of TKJ are colored to resemble the original coloring from the graphic novel
Jim Gordon is so much more than a supporting character
I need more of the one hour podcast videos please u guys are so funny an awesome 🤙🏻
Amazing! Story writers are doing a very good job on this! The drawers are doing a better job
Stories like this I always wonder, where’s Batman in all of this? Maybe he gets involved later
I love the exchange with Vengeance and Jim. Like instead of giving him some harsh words like “you’re gonna die going after the Joker” or telling him he’s useless she instead reminds him that he’s good and that the mess he’s in isn’t good for him. Cause she’s right, Jim is gonna be messed up at the end since he’s entangled with not only the Joker but the court of owls as well. I think that whole moment was the perfect final warning for him.
Will love to see this on screen
Love the channel
James tynion omg what a beast 🤦🏻♂️ this and the nice house on the lane are my favorite reading experiences so far this year
Wooow this is just simply brilliant
This is easily the best Batman Universe Storyline I've seen in Years!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nah
Fact!
Good to have you back, Arris!
What would happen if we saw this comic book event taking place on the Big Screen or TV Shows?
I’d watch that
I Would Definately Watch
Can you do history of the characters mentioned in this video?
Yeah, I’d appreciate that too. I’m not familiar with Bane’s daughter or the Samson family.
Awesome
That sounds REALLY interesting.
I really enjoyed this series so far
this series is soooo good!
I love this series
How come the Court of Owls didn't hire the Red Hood and Azrael to kill the Joker? Can you please do history of Azrael?
Right?
cause then it would be too easy
Cause batman needs joker like how joker needs batman
Because they can't
@@megatronusorionpax4900 Just a guess. But Jim is easier to manipulate and if things go south he’s also easier to eliminate
Do you think we will see someone like that She_Bane as the main villain of the second Birds of Prey movie? Can you do history of Bane?
Can you make a review video for the suicide squad movie please I really want to hear your thoughts on it and it's impact on the DCEU
Its meh, nothing that the Harley Quinn show hasnt done a 100 times better before.
Ppl are saying flash movie will rewrite the DCEU I hope so
@@ParagonGoetia if marvel came out with the same movie everybody be calling it best movie of the year
@@wildboy6718 If DC were to release another movie like BvS most probably no one would really enjoy it.
Edit: Not to say about JL and how even the new version is just decent.
I loved it. It was the most fun I’ve had at the movies this year.
When is the podcast coming back, really missing that.
Ohhhh yeahhhh!
This would make an awesome animated movie
Hell yeah
definitely i need to see blood in this tho lots of blood
VARIANT COMICS
PLEASE DO THE COMICS OF SHADOWMAN #2 ,3,4
this series is really interesting
Head back to the light, damn that's powerfull.
Vengence got me bricked up
Dope shirt.
God that's very good!!!
Joker makes Jim reconcile himself
Can you do history of the Justice Society of America and the Seven Soldiers of Victory?
tragic yet fitting interpretation of gordon during the killing joke i think.. so much, so horrible, but he knew he had those that would break too if he did.
Look at this, Jimmy-Boy! It's Bats and your daughter going at it!
Nice
Let's goooooo!
Variant can you continue you the 2021 suicide squad series it seems pretty cool and I’d love to see more
So how long till you do history of Alfred Pennyworth, Batwing, Flame Bird, Batwoman, Azrael, Signal(Duke Thomas), Bluebird, Stephanie Brown and Carrie Kelly along with Richard_Dragon, Bronze_Tiger, Lady_Shiva and Cassandra Cain?
Sounds like a good idea
Yeah. Making Jim Gordon relive that moment of watching his daughter get crippled by a maniac, getting beaten up his thugs, being forced to see pictures of her undressed is a good idea.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I really like that idea.
Joker's right. Without gordon, batman would've been a broken character from the start
That’s a fire shirt ngl
When did Bane have a daughter
They gotta make this live action
Brian Cranston and William Defoe
You mentioned check out the previous videos" here" and there is nothing is shared in the link.
I love jokers face 8:55
Lol! I didn’t notice that before. He looks so smug and pleased with himself.
How about a history of Azrael video
(just throwing it out there)
I’m new to comics, I’m more of a manga reader, I want to get into collecting dc comics want to start with Batman and green lantern which omnibus should I start with?
Variant has 'a history of' epsiode on both of them and includes a recommendation section. You might try starting there.
Arris is donning an appropriate shirt
Bro that’s a really nice looking shirt
That’s a fucking resident evil tyrant on the plane
Wow
I think The Joker War was the best way to kill the Joker for good.
Wait. Bane reproduced? When?
What would happen if we saw Stephanie_Brown and Cassandra Cain become a trio of Batgirl with Barbara Gordon in the DCEU?
That would be a cool spin on the Mystery of the Batwoman trio
yerrrr
I'm getting really really strong Monster by Naoki Urasawa vibes
How can you duck a bus, WTF? XD
How can I get to make comics and published them myself? How many people do I need.
What do you think is the best thing about this comic book event and who do you think is the best character?
I like the chemistry between Gordon and Joker. It’s not something we see a lot. Usually Batman is like a “mutual friend” that kinda prohibits that contact between them. It’s cool just seeing the Joker and Gordon talking about their history and watching Gordon solve a case for the worst man on the planet.
How do I get the comics?
I 'll be waiting for a video about the Suicide Squad series "Joker Must Die" when it will complete. I read the first issue and I found it perfect in all levels.
That sounds REALLY interesting. Cool idea.
I love the issue but something about how joker looks just ticks me off.
This is great but imagine if red hood and Jim team up later on
Honestly I feel dc have just ran out of ideas now.
wait a sec, I just realized your last name. Are you related to Joe Quinones, the artist for Batman '89??
Has anyone look at the new daredevil run
I like vengeance
How is there no copy right claims when you literally show the comics on youtube? But, if you whistle 5 seconds a song you get copy right claimed immediately.
Why does every one of these videos feel like a repeat? Thought this was already covered.
Do the thing vs swamp thing and Joker vs Green Goblin
Thing Vs. Swamp Thing is a bad idea with Swamp Thing winning in a stomp. And Joker Vs. Green Goblin has been talked about for years.
#TheJoker #JimGordon #DCComics
I just finished reading the three jokers series. What comes after that and is the three jokers series part of the main continuity? It's so damn confusing..
Three Jokers follows that "they are 3 Jokers" scene in Geoff Johns' Justice League run, so its possibly within New 52 continuity.
@@SirDot Ahh I see. Thank you
Woa
You're here too my rival✋🏻😎👍🏻
Bane have a daughter?!
Why the click bait it's just ptsd not that the joker actually forced him to re live it
What is going to with Batman and whoever Robin is in this comic book issue?
I was wondering if anyone could help me get into comics I like Batman robin and generally most members of the bat family if anyone could give me a few titles to start reading that would be great
Why does the joker have two different eye colors?
I love DC writings better the marvel just because they go more into details.
Of course joker wouldn't be dead even if they got a chance to kill him. Dude can just manipulate and make someone rationalise his thinking.
Why does the Court_of_Owls want to hire Gordon to kill the Joker instead of sending someone like Talon and why would they want to kill the Clown_Prince? What would happen if the Joker took over the organization?
I’m just guessing (cuz I was wondering that too. God knows they have the resources) but I think it boils down to 2 reasons.
1.) motivation: Jim Gordon has probably more motivation than anyone to want to either see the joker dead or actively kill him himself. There’s the Killing Joke thing but also Gordon has been witnessing Joker’s atrocities for YEARS. He’s seen almost every horrible thing he’s done. If anyone has a motivation (at least to the COO. Outside looking in.) to finally end him it’s Gordon.
2.) He’s capable. He’s the most competent cop and detective in Gotham. He’s trained, intelligent, resourceful. He’s also a damn good detective. Not Batman good but still very good. He’d be able to follow joker and figure out what he’s up to. Add to that the unlimited resources of the court and yeah…I could kinda see why they’d send Gordon. And they’re smart enough to know that Gordon has VERY powerful friends backing him up already.
As to what would happen if joker took over the court? I think he’d take whatever valuable intelligence or resources they have and then just kill them all. I don’t think he has any interest in being the leader of a secret society of wealthy gothamites.
