I mean in Batman that isn’t super unique their are tons of villains who were good or ordinary people who became evil due to Gotham being terrible which molded them into being super villains like Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Etc.

I agree. Sometimes I wish they made a comic where Marvel villains in DC villains would switch places and see how the results between them work. In other words Marvel heroes fighting DC villains and DC heroes fighting Marvel villains and see who actually lasts the longest. They made comic books with Marvel heroes and DC heroes in crossovers but never the villains.

Playing Lego Batman when I was a kid and getting last riddler mission and seeing Two-Face shoot his guns at a acid talk and then walk through it like it's nothing and and dance and laugh made me love him, just was do badass

I always liked that Dent seemed more of an anti hero than a villian when he became Two Face in certain stories. He does crime and bad things sure, but he's still capable of making right choices if his coin allows it. I think he's even helped Batman on a few occassions as Two Face
One of my favorite moments was when Two-Face and Batman teamed up against Rupert Throne and his goons, in the animated series
I never knew Harvey's last name would be originally Kent. Might be an interesting comic to find out Harvey is related to the Kent family, and having them interact. Even if it's not really true and just part of Harvey's psychosis.

My favorite versions of Harvey Dent/Two-Face is Aaron Eckhart from The Dark Knight and the Telltale game series.
I've always been fascinated by this character.
I really hope we see him throughout the Matt Reeves film series.

He had a big role in The Dark Knight Returns comic. I liked it when his face was healed and he only saw himself as his evil (burned) side.
I actually liked the old version where he did good and bad things. It makes him more complex a character.

I loved the portrayal in the Dark Knight. I always enjoy the scene of the Joker sharing his views with Harvey in the hospital and basically creating Two-face. It put Harvey’s mental state more as bi-polar than dissociative identity/split personality disorder as he seemed to have one personality that could go 0-100 in a split second with the coin decisions idea given to him by the joker under the philosophy of bringing about chaos. It’s a portrayal of two-face that really suited that movie.

I honestly think besides Joker all of Batman’s villains are extremely overrated. Two Face is a district attorney with a gun. He literally wouldn’t be a threat to any other DC hero.

9:52 The fact that he deliberately disfigured himself is even more awesome. I remember that issue. Harvey having a conversation with his two face side and two face of course winning the argument. In the end, it was king shark that framed Harvey.
When it comes to Two-Face, I believe that he stands as one of Batman's top-5 best villains. The two-part episode of Harvey Dent's transition into Two-Face in the animated series is considered to be one of the best episodes, even psychologists praise the first episode. And when it came to Tommy Lee Jones' portrayal as the character in Batman Forever, there were some 'mis-haps' of the character, considering that he had Joker-like vibes instead of the infamous dual-personality.
I love the moment in the dark knight returns where Harvey, now looking normal, says that both sides match while returning to crime. Real testament to his character imo

To me, Harvey's always deserved to be as firmly cemented as batmans second greatest villain as joker is cemented as batmans greatest villain. I think it would be fitting since he's a character obsessed with two's and duality

Two Face is one of the greatest Batman and DC villains and he is my second favorite Batman villain after the Joker 🃏. One thing i love about Two Face is that the coin 🪙 decides everything he does or says otherwise . Richard Molls voice as Two Face in Batman TAS was so iconic with his raspy voice. Everytime i read a Batman comic book and reading Two Faces lines i hear Richard Molls voice.

Honestly: although the modern origins with repressed mental health issues and a Coin obsession is a unique spin I honestly prefer the 1940s literal 2 faced origin. Hes still the Man that Batman and the rest of Gotham once trusted but his morality can turn on a dime. He’s the exact same man he once was just without human decency to ground him. 40s two face could return to the courtroom one day as if nothing had happened and he would probably stay that way until he changes his mind and flips the coin

If anything it would have made him a decent reason for Superman and Batman team-ups.

Rupert Thorne: Otherwise, as a concerned citizen, I'd be compelled to give this to the press. After all, the people of Gotham have a right to know the kind of person... or should I say "persons", they've elected. So, what do you say, Harvey? Do we have a deal?
(Harvey's face has contorted in building rage the entire time, but suddenly relaxes into deceptive docility)

Harvey Dent was a man who had full control and ‘his way’ and depending on how hard opposition pushed back his dark side comes out in equal or greater force
When he became two face, he’s lost all control to the point he’s let fate decide his way forward

Two face is a classic example of how evil can root itself in the cracks of a decent person. It's Also a cautionary tale about getting to close to evil expecting it would not effect you. Harvey is what most of us would become if faced with the moral rigours of having to be as incorruptible Batman.

So, the dark night story line is not accurate because in that movie he gets half his face burnt by fire, while in the comics, half of his face gets eroded by chemicals.
