Jonathan Crane is a great character. I love his demonic power. His ability to work up peoples fear is very underrated but awesome! I love the Scarecrow, Nolans Batman Begins portrayed him perfectly.

The Hellfire Club! Scarecrow is my favourite batman villain but I thought he was a bit pathetic in batman begins and he tuned out to just be a puppet. I thought he was much better in batman arkham asylum and arkham knight.

why are a LOT of Batman villains former doctors/ professors/ psychiatrists? Harley, Scarecrow, Hugo Strange, Mr Freeze, Jeremiah Arkham(the 2nd Black Mask) Dr. Thomas Elliot (Hush), Dollmaker....etc !!! Im sure there's more

Tim Z Because Batman's main way of fighting villains is to use his mind. Making Villains almost as smart as Batman himself makes for a more interesting story.

Might be a weird choice, but the design, voice acting, and motives of the Arkham Knight character my be my favorite portrayal of him of all time. Very dark, very threatening, and very serious. I think they really stepped up an otherwise somewhat campy character with that rendition.
Nolan did him well too.
+Tom Whaley I ADORE the Scarecrow's portrayal in the Arkham series. His appearance in Arkham Asylum was what made me fall in love with the character.

I liked his role in Asylum (those cool nightmares). But he looks and sounds better in Arkham Knight.
Swagshoes68 I definitely prefer how he looks and sounds in Asylum. He looks like a corpse and sounds completely deranged. In Arkham Knight he sounds too composed and looks too military.

Interesting concept for a DCEU movie. A Scarecrow solo film with horror elements. Villain origin stories seems to be the next step for comic book films lately, so that make perfect sense.

I've always loved the scarecrow ever since I saw batman begins and batman tas the pre 52 and new 52 origins are really interesting I love that crane is back in arkham knight and he's scarier then ever.

This is possibly your best episode to date. Scarecrow is one of my favorite Batman villains and you covered his story thoroughly yet expeditiously.
Scott Snyder needs to write a Scarecrow story arc ASAP!!!
they should have mixed some of the last 2 story lines into one, it would make the best bio (mother looking him in tower and him getting bit my birds was cool visual) and he should always be frail (unless he takes toxin) like all scarcrows.

Man, Scarecrow from the Arkham games is really dark and creepy, and the very concept of his character is so unsettling. I wanna checkout the comic he first appears in.

It's kind of hard to decide, but scarecrow is one of my favorite batman villains. I always love seeing batman in pseudo horror nightmare sequences. I really loved the episode of tas where batman was locked in arkham and he has to stop scarecrow from poising gothams water. They didn't pull any punches on those fear toxin scenes.
6 years later the chemistry between Tim and Arris is still on point even with TC off screen in the background 😂😂😂

Scarecrow is better than any other batman villain in my opinion, yes even joker. I love how sadistic and frightening he is and his portrayal in the arkham games is perfect. He is my favorite villain in fiction and my mind probably won't change.
My favorite DC villain by far. The power of fear is amazing, well, more like the understanding of fear and how to use it(; I think he is so underrated.
I loved how they took a chance in Scarecrow in being the major villain of a Batman game. They made him out to be a serious threat, I never liked the bag head version of Scarecrow, I love the Scarecrow from Arkham Knight. Made him look as scary as possible and he made you fear him as a villain. Besides Bane and Joker, Scarecrow as been the only I've been ever able to take seriously and a villain that could be a serious threat to Batman.

The Arkham series has an amazing version of the Scarecrow. I love the idea that he’s not an insane person but rather someone who is just very evil. But also these other origins are great as well aside from maybe the not being able to feel emotion thing. Hopefully we get to see more of him in future media!

Growing up my first real exposure to anything Batman was the LEGO Batman video game. Scarecrow was my favorite of the villains because he looked so freaking cool, even as a LEGO minifig.

DC could have made scarecrow better. He has so much potential.
You should definitely do history of Crimson Avenger at some point, mostly because he was one of the first masked vigilantes and to y knowledge THE first for DC.
A trio of Scarecrow, a Lantern Corps and Batman is pretty creative.
