WMATA 9826

Taken in downtown Silver Spring a few years back, these buses were due to be retired within the next year or so. Rumor has it that these, the 9700s and the Metro Es will be overhauled again and placed into the newest paint now seen on the NABI BRTs. Excuse the poor quality as these were taken on a CVS video camera.

They don't make em like that anymore. My favorite buses that WMATA had were the 9600's.

one day metro wmata will resurrected these buses from the 40's 50's 60's and 70's and bring them back to life
