Wow! Pretty empty. I remember when all of the bus slots would be filled and the station would be jumping. Sign of the times I guess.

After more than 35 years at this terminal Greyhound has abandoned the building and moved to a small office with curbside pickup on Market St. Greyhiund can no longer afford to carry the expenses for these large downtown stations in the wake of all the competition so Philly joins many other cities the latest being Houston, TX to lose their station. It's a sad situation but Greyhound is done paying for these big stations on their own dime. Either the cities get together and build a bus terminal for all to use or curbside pickups with buses picking up on the side of the road or gas station is all you're gonna get.

I made a mistake in taking a 1,000 journey with them. Took 3 1/2 days both ways with a total layover time of 33 hours! Only one terminal had a decent eating place but no place for weary travelers to spend HOURS worth of layovers. Never Again will I endure such misery!
I can drive it in two days at my own pace and eat when and where I want and sleep well before taking off the next day. Besides, on the bus, my sciatica was at it's worse. Even extended plane rides bother it. I have to keep shifting my weight.

3 1/2 days each way literally sitting up will affect the body. I couldn’t do it!

It’s hard watching this video because everything at that terminal changed since February 2022 and the NJ Transit buses don’t serve that GH terminal anymore.

Effective April 19, 2022, masks became optional at passenger discretion on all Greyhound buses except where local municipalities still require masking.
