See that is the problem .. it is important that people who are not black speak out and that their voices are heard that even though they are not black they understand or can see why this issue is important to the fabric of the nation. When non-blacks speak out in support of black issues it will elevate and possibly influence the consciousness of those who might not otherwise take the time to put themselves in a black person shoes.

no, he just mentioned the issues in passing, but as usual the vast majority of these conversations are about the protest itself and not the issues they want to bring light to. The thing that Shannon said about unarmed men and women of color being killed by white cops, is BS. Women of any color regardless of whether they are armed or not are much less likely to be killed by men of any particular race. Also a lot of the high profile cases that Shannon has mentioned on the show were either someone who was armed and/or the cop was not white.
