"If Liverpool has everyone healthy, they're with MC the best team in the league, we know that". They were only missing Robertson. They probably are 2nd to City, but we don't "know" it as vehemently as before this season. Arsenal do seem to not have frailties in their first XI. And the bench is quite strong
Liverpool played horribly as they have all season and yet it took a bad penalty call for Arsenal to beat them. I think Arsenal fans are getting way ahead of themselves if they think they are going to challenge City. Arsenal are exactly what they appear to be. Lost to United away and just beat a poor Liverpool at home. There is nothing there that says they are going challenge City for the title after only 9 games. Calm down. Liverpool were 14 points behind City in the second half of last season and came to within one at the end. They are now 14 points behind Arsenal with 30 games left. 30 games. Even the top 4 isn’t guaranteed for Arsenal yet. Calm down gunners. A long way to go still. Lots can happen. Wish you luck.
The state of Michael Owen...it's almost like he never dived in his life...Liverpool in the Gerrard years used to play around the premise of getting free kicks in advanced areas so that Gerrard could take a free kick.
Yeah, notice everyone says that it was soft but still admit it was a penalty. You can’t argue that it wasn’t. Plus, last year someone straight up kicked Saka’s standing leg in the box and they didn’t even check it on VAR.
Just because he touches him and don't get the ball doesn't make it a foul 😂 if that's the case every defender, defending a corner is committing a foul with your logic
@@deanwarwick437 It's soft but it impede's Gabriel's contact with the ball in the box. Some refs would wave it away some would give it. There's always been an area for a referee to determine this on his own. I see why Liverpool fans are upset, but it's not the "wrong" decision as many ppl have said.
Zinchenko left Antony in the same way that Trent did, they are very similar players. I trust Tierney way more in that LB position #NewHighbury Edit: also it's weird to hear Owen call Owen, Owen...
Zinchenko in that period I’m pretty sure was trying to cover the area Gabriel left there cause he came forward to try and snuff out the danger so his natural position was exposed. It wasn’t the same.
@@eoin2 I meant defensively. And if you watch the last few match Tierney has been involved in, he rarely overlaps these days, also taa rarely overlaps, usually he looks to find Man.. I mean Diaz. But that pass is not on anymore
They scored an offside goal at the beginning and then we're awarded a bad penalty after Liverpool weren't given one. They played well but they didn't deserve a win.
A drop in the ocean of restitution for all those times our players were hacked down or body slammed WWF-style (remember Villa's challenge on Saka earlier this season?) in the area...
Never a pen, 5050 ball slightest of touches and he goes down like his been shot 😂 if we're going to give them now, expect any touch in the the box is a pen now
You can pull a man by the hair and smash him to the ground take a goal away from a team from a weak tackle 30 seconds before and now touching in the box is a pen. Var can go F itself useless 🤬
How many big games have Arsenal lost over the years to soft or poor decisions? We have to accept this as part of the game. Liverpool have benefitted from more than their fair share of marginal calls as well. Win some, lose some.
Put it this way. Decisions go wrong all the time. Sometimes against us and all teams have their times. Regardless of the penalty we pushed for the win and we got a win. It’s a simple as that. We deserve it and that’s that, full stop.
I remember flash backs of around February 2008 , just before eduardo broke his leg , we was flying and all was well - ill never forget how it all come crashing down, I'm not being a negative nelly- just saying steady on a bit - they're young lads let them play stop mentioning titles
i understand the penalty but i was gutted not to get the draw (although that in itself speaks volumes). definitely hurt to let a game of such energy and ferocity be decided by a little touch in the box but oh well our defence is just a shambles though. this new 4231 isn’t doing it for me either, feels like we’re making salahs life as hard as possible. i hope joe gomez starts ahead of trent next game, tsimikas and thiago can drive the creativity and i feel like we’d be far more secure i suppose there’s always next year 😂
Salah is just not close enough in the final third. Also there is absolutely no way that your 4-2-3-1 can work without Fabinho. Either Henderson or Thiago goes on the bench. Though your front 4 caused us problems, the other 6 were abysmal without the ball for let's 60 minutes of 90. We had all the possible freedom in the build up.
@@aleksabenovic6046 yeah i would agree about the fabinho point but i think klopp is frustrated with him atm - he’s been sloppy on the ball and his pressing has been dire, he needs to get his act together so he can perform that ball winning role (with thiago as a mezalla driving creativity). i did think that thiago and henderson were good on the ball in the first half but henderson got put into some very odd positions in the second half. the situation at the top end of the pitch just feels undertrained honestly though. i thought nunez looked better than before but he was offside so many times - no-ones finishing is looking anywhere near sharp (except bobby) and diaz won’t be back until after the world cup apparently 😂 brilliant

@@hafizur91 you're missing the point. Liverpool were amazing last year, they could have won 4 cups! They've only lost Mane from their starting squad and they already look a top 6 team rather than the top 2 team they've been for 6 years. I dunno how they've become so bad so quickly.

City doesn’t actually have the same depth it used to. We used to be able to name two world class XIs from their squad. That second XI is thinner now they’ve let the likes of Jesus, Sterling and Zinchenko go. Also Arsenal squad depth is much improved. Still a big gap between the two teams but not as big.
The contact on Jesus actually prevented him from making contact with the ball. A clear pen. The issue with Martinelli v Man U was not whether it was a foul or not, it was the issue of ‘clear error’, fouls are almost always subjective and how many moves back in the build-up can VAR legitimately go? Offsides, handballs I have no problem with the use of VAR but fouls 3 passes back in the build-up are more problematic.

And if the FA Cup is nothing, why did Chelsea play so hard against Liverpool last year in the League Cup? Liverpool won the shootout 11-10!
The FA cup seems only worth winning if you get to the semi finals 🤷🏻♂️ sad but true , it’s not an ounce on what it used to be hence how teams disrespect the earlier rounds !

Great respect for Arsenal. Liverpool was a bit dirty today, chippy. The Gunners did well and I believed that they would win.🙌
Arsenal were always told they play to nice against teams, when other teams go down so easily pundits use to say arsenal should do it as playing nice won't get you far in this league, so it's good to see things and decisions going our way for a change
My Arsenal team they showed that once again. And Saka Brave boy. Big up Saka, I love my Arsenal. COYG
I felt so overwhelmed and I was not the one taking the penalty haha
The missing prince (Arteta) has being found, finally Wenger has an heir to the throne. 🤴Long live the king

From a City fan. Funny year this year. Liverpool have lost all confidence, but Arsenal have stepped in. Great to see Gabby pulling up trees. Look after Zinny for us man. They're both special

Bad result for us but fair play Arsenal. Hopefully we can get something against The oilers next week
Well, if Halaand and kdb get injured City will struggle too. This season is very unpredictable especially with world cup inbetween as well.
Haaland will rest
Exactly, every team has key players and if they are out the team would struggle.
I don't understand why this is only applicable to Arsenal.
Ifs and buts will u fuck off arsenal will never win the league never
KDB and Silva are enough to destabilize that team.
Didn't know the team with the best squad ALWAYS wins the league. Case in point, Leicester City 2016. Lazy punditry by Murphy.
MY MANAGER 🧡🧡🧡 COME ON ARSENAL!!!!!!!! 🔴⚪
First they said we didn't play anyone yet now they say we don't have depth😅
love this absolutely love this Owen and Hargreaves crying... Arsenal we back!
It's a "soft penalty", but it's a penalty. We've all seen them get called more regularly in the past few years.
Arsenal fans wont mind what Danny is saying. We don't expect to be title challengers. We are enjoying the ride and hoping for an improvement on last season's final postition. Can't ask for more than that.
That is a clear cut stonewall penalty
It was a very soft penalty but idc, weve had decisions go against us and we were by far better team across the game. More than double xg
"If Liverpool has everyone healthy, they're with MC the best team in the league, we know that". They were only missing Robertson. They probably are 2nd to City, but we don't "know" it as vehemently as before this season. Arsenal do seem to not have frailties in their first XI. And the bench is quite strong
Right? They had everyone.
Also, where was this sympathy when Arsenal lost 3-4 players due to injury last season?
Liverpool are still a very good team, but without new signings this team won't reach the heights of previous seasons. They are too old now
You forget liverpool was mane...his elbow worked against Arsenal several times
@@daynos If Arsenal had lost you would still say they lost to a poor Liverpool side. Please just rest okay 👌

If Leicester win 2016 why doubt Arsenal beside Man City threat…We praying🤲to Allah we’ll win this year
You were outplayed simple arsenal looking a real team
Henderson should’ve been sent off. Tsimikas should’ve had three red cards.
The state of Michael Owen...it's almost like he never dived in his life...Liverpool in the Gerrard years used to play around the premise of getting free kicks in advanced areas so that Gerrard could take a free kick.
Soft or not Thiago didn't get the ball period
Yeah, notice everyone says that it was soft but still admit it was a penalty. You can’t argue that it wasn’t.
Plus, last year someone straight up kicked Saka’s standing leg in the box and they didn’t even check it on VAR.
Just because he touches him and don't get the ball doesn't make it a foul 😂 if that's the case every defender, defending a corner is committing a foul with your logic
What of Gabriel's handball in the box 18??
Gabriel got the ball....

Rất cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ. Tuyệt vời 👍❤️❤️
"There was contact", that's what we were told against Man U. Even Roy Keane said it.
Zinchenko left Antony in the same way that Trent did, they are very similar players.
I trust Tierney way more in that LB position #NewHighbury
Edit: also it's weird to hear Owen call Owen, Owen...
That is a madness. Zinchenko is completely different to TAA. taa does nothing but overlap, Zinchenko never overlaps.

A drop in the ocean of restitution for all those times our players were hacked down or body slammed WWF-style (remember Villa's challenge on Saka earlier this season?) in the area...
If that's not a pen then Martinelli goal against WankChester should have stood..
Good you say its a soft penalty. Soft or hard it is a penalty
Never a pen, 5050 ball slightest of touches and he goes down like his been shot 😂 if we're going to give them now, expect any touch in the the box is a pen now
@@deanwarwick437 never a penalty
@@deanwarwick437 LOL. As if those kind of penalties are not actually given every week.
I remember flash backs of around February 2008 , just before eduardo broke his leg , we was flying and all was well - ill never forget how it all come crashing down, I'm not being a negative nelly- just saying steady on a bit - they're young lads let them play stop mentioning titles
i understand the penalty but i was gutted not to get the draw (although that in itself speaks volumes). definitely hurt to let a game of such energy and ferocity be decided by a little touch in the box but oh well
our defence is just a shambles though. this new 4231 isn’t doing it for me either, feels like we’re making salahs life as hard as possible. i hope joe gomez starts ahead of trent next game, tsimikas and thiago can drive the creativity and i feel like we’d be far more secure
i suppose there’s always next year 😂
Salah is just not close enough in the final third.
For all the Arteta out nonsense from the end of last season you've got to understand the process and have patience these young players are only going to get better and let's just take one game at a time.Martinelli is causing havoc down the wing and Jesus has been the signing of the year with the way he never gives up this is what we have needed for years up the Gooners 🔥🔥🔥
Jesus singin of the year is that just about arsenal
Trust the process
Youngest side in the PL too dont forget!
I remember arguing with someone on Twitter, him saying arteta has to go me saying give it time we will be challenging in a year or two. It’s a bit early to say we’re challenging but it feels good to be right
That’s correct, they are top heavy, injuries will impede them
Martinelli cost 6 million
And will go for free because arsenal are terrible at keeping players and handling contracts that's one Change I want to see.
Since when a soft penalty is not a penalty?
Waiting for Klopps new excuse.
The wind was too strong, the grass was too long, sun was too hot.

Both of the Owen's are good pundits
It was a penalty. Kicking through someone and not touching the ball will get a pen nearly every single time.
Liverpool have literally only lost Mane from their starting 11. It’s been an amazing collapse from them
Arsenal were the better team today, by far. Arsenal are challenging for 2nd. I just hope we can keep our main players fit
Its not just because of mane, arsenal have improved their play.
@@hafizur91 you're missing the point. Liverpool were amazing last year, they could have won 4 cups! They've only lost Mane from their starting squad and they already look a top 6 team rather than the top 2 team they've been for 6 years. I dunno how they've become so bad so quickly.

Danny is absolutely right in his assessment of Arsenal as title contenders. Top 4 is still the target.

Soft or not, it was a penalty. Bitter pundits.
City did not played well against Arsenal and cheating penalty gave them 3 points. We are now proper skilled team and also very physical with the opponent .
