The reason for why we know whether your Google Ads campaign will be profitable after the first 7 days is because this is when Google Ads has completed your initial learning phase.
The learning phase in Google Ads is Google giving your ads a test vs other competitor ads and they are checking:
- Will your ads actually be clicked on?
- Is it good for users? ie: Do people stay on your website & complete any conversion actions.

Hi! Amazing video :) What if after the 1st week you make changes to the campaign assets? That would mean that the campaign would now "renew" its learning period and would need another 7 days to see if the campaign is successful? Thanks a lot! :))

I found the video to be agreeable. There were a few plot twists in the story that kept me hooked. Though, there was nothing uniquely exceptional about it. I took those three minutes and I must say that they were enjoyable, for I did embrace some of the guidance from the creator but most of the tips he provided were things I already knew.Still not bad.
I was running ads in the UK and Canada with a budget of 10$ per day. Clearly I was under funded but I even though both got a CTR or around 4.7 to 4.8 they all still managed to bring in conversions in the learning stage. Does this mean that the campaigns are unsuccessful or can this be solved by a simple budget boost.
I’ve just started my campaign and in one day I have 84 impressions and 8 clicks CTR is 9.52% if that good I don’t have any conversions yet

5% for Shopping or Search or both? CTR .8-1% after 1 week. 1 sale.
What if I got a decent CPC, decent conversion rate, amazing Roas but only 0,55% click thru rate (14 conversions in 2 days) will google lower the impressions on this? Who knows the answer?
Great video! I already optimized a lot, and I'm getting 16% CTR but no sales. So I'm suspecting either I need to add more negative keywords, or improving the landing page experience (which google is telling me is low).

Does it make sense for "generating conversions" to create another main conversion tracking action when the person scrolls for example 90% of the page? Allowing you to give a conversion signal until you get real leads.

Don't do that mistake. Don't use scroll, page view or any basic events as conversion. If not purchase you can atleast use add to cart, or any important link clicks or anything which shows customer is interested to convert
I really appreciate your videos as I mentioned in an other video! 💪I would like to give you a little tip about your videos. There is a lamp on your left which pulses a bit, and it maybe a little distracting. You should set a proper framerate when you capture to the electricity standards to match those together (do not use 30fps) . That will eliminate the little flickering! Bests! 🤙

I had a question regarding recalibrating a campaign. In this video, you talk about "rebuilding" the campaign if it's not trending the right way after 7 days. My question is if the best method is to create a new campaign with the tweaks you want to make, or does just making changes in the existing campaign trigger a new "learning" phase in Adwords? Thanks in advance.
Hi Greg, the best option would be to make changes to the exisiting campaign to trigger a new "learning" phase.
The advantage of this option is that you can review the search terms and add these as negative KWs to the restructure ad group.
If you need to add any new ad groups you can then also copy these negative KWs to the extra ad groups or add them at the campaign level.

For me, just a small change in target CPA or adding keywords and kaboom. If the ad is running, don't touch it. Create another one.

odd, because i have a ctr of 7+% but Google has still lowered by impressions. "100% of spend is limited by your max. bid limit" could that be the issue?

I changed CPAs and Google killed my campaign. Zero impressions for one week and it hasn't recovered.
Support said that anything that you change can kill your campaign for a week!

Sir I am not getting clicks, my conversion rate is 10% after learning phase of 1 weak and i have 0 conversion but after 1 weak now I think my ad is not triggering because I am not getting impressions and clicks. Please tell me why is this problem arising to me?

What if u have a high cpc
What to do when you have good clicks and above 5% CTR but no sales due to high priced goods?
For high priced goods, it may be beneficial to exclude some of the lower ranges with the income range for example: Under 50%.
This can be done in the audience & demographic section

Do we see any conversion during the Google Bid Strategy Learning which you have mentioned takes 7 days. Though my CTR is 8%+ and it has completed 4 days of learning so still I have 3 more days, but it is showing a 0% Conversion rate. Is this something normal? Please let me know.

I have 1000 impressions daily, 120 clicks (12% ctr on average), 35 "learn more" button clicks from that page and 0 purchases (0 conversions). It's the 3rd day of "bid strategy learning". Is this really bad?

Thanks Lawrence, if you are not getting any conversions focus first on increasing your CTR and then from there focus on the ad groups with the highest CTR and continue to test your landing pages & ad copy until you start to see some conversions.

The video unquestionably was not extraordinary. The things I liked best were a few hints that the channel creator shared but most of it was already under my knowledge.Still not bad.
With this one, I am not very sure. The editing and the camera skills were good but the story became boring after a little while. It could intrigue even the beginners.
